What the system is

It combines a sealed buoyancy structure with a high-strength, wear-resistant rubber hose body, enabling stable flotation without the need for additional floats or pontoons.
How it connects
The hose can be directly connected to cutter suction dredgers, which is what allows a floating discharge line to be assembled from hose sections alone rather than from pipe plus separate buoyancy hardware.
Why it matters operationally
Removing external floats removes the fitting work, the fastening points and the components that can come loose in weather. On a long overwater run, that is a meaningful reduction in both installation time and the number of things that can fail.
