The WA6661XX-XXX-C is a one inch metallic AODD pump in the WA Series, designed for reliable transfer of fluids that require a durable body and consistent performance. It delivers up to 35 GPM, or 133 LPM, at 120 psi, with a dry suction lift of 6.1 m and a maximum solids passage of 6.4 mm. It is available in aluminum, cast iron or 316 stainless steel, each with a bolted construction that prevents leaks and allows quick access for maintenance. The pump is built to run dry, dead head, and handle intermittent flow without damage.
| Maximum flow rate | 35GPM(133LPM) |
|---|---|
| Maximum operating pressure | 120psi(8.3bar) |
| Suspended solids max diameter | 1/4"(6.4mm) |
| Fluid inlet | 1"BSPT or 1"NPT |
| Fluid outlet | 1"BSPT or 1"NPT |
The WA Series is a separate platform from DP3X. It shares no features with the DP3X air end, and its performance is defined by its own design.
The aluminum version weighs just 8.6 kg, making it easy to move between stations or install on a portable cart. The cast iron and stainless steel versions are heavier but still lighter than equivalent pumps from other brands.
The air motor design ensures clean, positive shift between diaphragm cycles, so the pump does not hang at mid stroke when starting under load or during a sudden pressure change.
The bolted fluid caps and accessible ball checks allow maintenance without tools or disassembly. This reduces downtime during routine checks or part replacement.
The bolted construction seals the fluid path without O-rings or gaskets that can degrade. This reduces the risk of fluid leakage during long duty cycles.
Choose aluminum for general duty, cast iron for abrasion resistance, or 316 stainless steel for corrosive fluids. Each body material is selected in the model code.
The port positions and mounting dimensions are compatible with major AODD brands, so the pump can be dropped into an existing setup without changing the piping or base.
The 1 inch WA Series metallic pump is chosen when a plant needs a small, durable, air-driven pump for consistent transfer in a tight space or a mobile setup.
Most inquiries for this model come from users who have experienced one of these five issues with their current pump.
Self priming with 6.1 m of dry suction lift, so it can empty a drum or small tank from ground level without a foot valve.
Can be run dry and dead headed, so it flushes lines or recirculates fluid without damage during maintenance.
Air throttling allows smooth flow control from a trickle to 133 LPM, which suits small batch mixing and formulation.
One person carries it to a sump, connects the hose, and runs it dry without needing a second operator.
The WA Series uses a separate platform from DP3X. It does not use the DP3X air distribution system or pilot valve.
The air motor design ensures the pump shifts between strokes without hanging at mid stroke, even under load or when starting from a dead stop.
The fluid caps and body are bolted together, eliminating O-rings and gaskets in the fluid path, which reduces leakage and contamination risk.
The ball check and diaphragm are accessible without removing the entire pump. This allows fast inspection and replacement during routine service.
The center body is available in aluminum, cast iron or 316 stainless steel. The model code selects the material at order time.
Diaphragm, ball check and seat materials are chosen in the model code. Options include Viton, PTFE with Santoprene, Hytrel, Santoprene, Nitrile, Neoprene, E.P.R.
Fluid inlets and outlets are 1 inch BSPT or NPT. The air inlet is 1/4 inch BSPT, with 1/4 inch NPT available on request.

Performance figures are transcribed from the Nuodean data sheet for this pump. Flow is measured at the pump discharge with water at ambient temperature; your duty point depends on air supply pressure, suction conditions, fluid viscosity and discharge head. Ask our engineers to confirm the duty point before you order.
Where this pump wins and where you should be buying something else.
| Versus the 1 inch plastic WA pump | The plastic version handles acids and alkalis that attack metal, at 177.9 LPM. Choose plastic when the fluid is corrosive and the flow is the priority. |
|---|---|
| Versus the 1.5 inch WA metallic pump | The 1.5 inch reaches 340.7 LPM and lifts 6.1 m dry, but weighs 23.4 kg aluminum. Step up only when 133 LPM is not enough. |
| Versus the 1 inch DP3X aluminum pump | The DP3X version has a pilot valve, self-lubricating air system and anti-icing design. It is quieter and more efficient. Choose DP3X if you need lower noise or better air efficiency. |
| Versus the 1 inch DP3X stainless steel pump | The DP3X stainless steel version weighs 32.2 kg, has a higher flow, and includes a pilot valve. Choose DP3X for better performance and reliability. |
| Versus the 1 inch cast iron DP3X pump | The DP3X cast iron version has a higher solids tolerance and better abrasion resistance. Choose it for slurry duty with grit or wear particles. |
| Versus a small electric pump | The electric pump is quieter and more efficient at constant flow. This air pump wins when the fluid is viscous, the tank runs dry, or the area cannot have electrical equipment. |
Five things that decide whether this pump does 133 LPM or half of it.
Flow depends on air pressure and volume. Use a 1/4 inch air line, keep it short, and confirm the compressor can hold 70 psi at the required flow.
Throttling the suction causes cavitation and reduces diaphragm life. Only throttle the discharge or the air inlet.
Choose the diaphragm and ball material based on the fluid chemistry and temperature. A wrong choice leads to rapid wear.
The 6.1 m dry lift is a maximum. If the pump is above the fluid source, use a flooded suction or a foot valve to improve priming.
Order the WA6661-Kit-XXX for your diaphragm and ball material. It includes the diaphragm, ball, seat, and O-rings for the fluid section.

35 GPM, which is 133 LPM, is the maximum with a free discharge and full air supply. Real duty points are lower. Send us the discharge head and the air pressure you can hold and we will tell you where on the curve you land.
Yes. An air operated double diaphragm pump can be run dry and can be dead headed against a closed valve without damage. That is the main reason plants choose one over a centrifugal pump.
1/4 inch, which is 6.4 mm, on the suspended solids figure from the data sheet. If your fluid carries bigger solids, look at the 3 inch models at 9.5 mm or the heavy duty flap valve pump at 50 mm.
Usually yes. The WA Series pumps are built so that installation dimensions and footprint are compatible with other brands. Send a photo of the nameplate and the pipework and we will confirm before you buy.
PTFE with a Santoprene backing for aggressive solvents and acids, Santoprene for general duty and long flex life, Viton for hot oils and aromatics, nitrile for petroleum products. Tell us the fluid and the temperature and we will put the right code on the quotation.
81.0 dB(A) at 70 psi and 50 cycles per minute, as printed on the data sheet. Slower cycling is quieter, and a piped exhaust takes more off.
Fluid inlet and outlet are 1 inch BSPT or 1 inch NPT. The air inlet is 1/4 inch BSPT, with 1/4 inch NPT available on request.

Buying GuideSizing an air diaphragm pump from the existing pipe size or the headline maximum flow guarantees poor performance. Here is how to select the right displacement and port size from actual duty conditions.
Material GuideDiaphragm selection is a balance between mechanical flex life and chemical compatibility. Pick the right material to avoid premature failures and process contamination.
