This size is the volume sweet spot in the DP3X range. It handles bulk transfer, filter press feed and high-volume recirculation without needing a motor. The 651 LPM flow from a single air line is a direct alternative to electric pumps.
Choose aluminum for weight and cost, stainless steel for corrosion resistance, cast iron for abrasion, or non-metallic for chemicals that attack metal.

548.8 LPM from a 28.1 kg non metallic body. The chemical duty workhorse of the DP3X range.

This size was built for duties where flow volume matters more than pump weight or cost, and where a motor is not an option.
The 2 inch model reaches 651 LPM at 120 psi, the highest flow in the DP3X range below 3 inch. This flow is sufficient for most bulk transfer and press feed duties.
The 6.4 mm solids capacity handles most industrial slurries, including cutting fluid with metal chips and waste water with suspended solids.
Footprint, port positions and mounting holes match other brands. A 2 inch DP3X can replace an existing pump without changing the base or piping.
The anti-icing design reduces discharge air pressure, which lowers air use and noise. The pump runs cooler and quieter than standard AODD designs.

Performance figures are transcribed from the Nuodean data sheet for this pump. Flow is measured at the pump discharge with water at ambient temperature; your duty point depends on air supply pressure, suction conditions, fluid viscosity and discharge head. Ask our engineers to confirm the duty point before you order.
Self priming with a dry lift up to 8.3 m, so road tankers and IBCs are emptied from ground level without a sump pump.
Maintains pressure as cake builds, dead heads at the end of the cycle, then restarts when the press is stripped.
Runs dry at the end of every cycle, so it can be used for system flush, clean down and reclamation without damage.
Moves acids, alkalis and solvents at 651 LPM without risk of seal failure or contamination from metal parts.
Follow one full stroke through the pilot valve, the major air valve and both liquid chambers, and the rest of the pump stops being mysterious.
Buying GuideSizing an air diaphragm pump from the existing pipe size or the headline maximum flow guarantees poor performance. Here is how to select the right displacement and port size from actual duty conditions.
Material GuideCompare aluminum, cast iron, stainless steel and non metallic bodies by fluid, duty and weight, not by habit.
Pick aluminum for low weight and cost, stainless steel for corrosion resistance, cast iron for abrasion resistance, or non-metallic for aggressive chemicals. The flow and pressure are the same across all four.
Yes. The installation dimensions, port positions and mounting holes are compatible with other brands. Send the old pump's model code and we will confirm fit.
The anti-icing design reduces discharge air pressure, which lowers air consumption. The exact amount depends on the operating pressure and flow, but it is less than standard AODD pumps.
It varies by model. The aluminum and non-metallic versions reach 14 feet (4.27 m), while the stainless steel and cast iron versions reach up to 27.2 feet (8.3 m).
We do not publish an ATEX certificate. The pumps are air driven with no electric motor, which makes them suitable for hazardous areas, but if certification is required, contact us to confirm what documentation is available.
Tell us the fluid, the flow, the discharge head and your available air pressure. We will recommend the best body material and send the full model code.
