The 1 inch WA pumps are built for straightforward replacement and small volume transfer. They share the same mounting and port layout as other WA models, so they fit into existing installations without modification.
One metallic pump for durability in abrasive or high-pressure service, one plastic pump for chemical resistance in low-solids applications.

133 LPM and 8.3 bar from a compact 8.6 kg aluminum body. The smallest metallic pump in the WA Series.

177.9 LPM and 8.3 bar from a 9.2 kg polypropylene body. A robust plastic pump for corrosive and abrasive fluids.
View Specifications →Maintenance teams replacing a pump that failed in a small transfer line, or engineers who need a compact pump for a tight space.
These pumps address common issues in small transfer lines where a larger pump is overkill and a custom solution is not practical.
The mounting holes, port positions and base dimensions are identical to other WA series pumps, so swapping in a 1 inch WA model does not require new piping or supports.
The aluminum, cast iron and stainless steel versions handle higher pressure and solids. The polypropylene version resists acids, alkalis and solvents without degradation.
The envelope across both 1 inch WA models, taken from their individual data sheets.
| Port size | 1 inch |
|---|---|
| Maximum flow rate | 133 LPM (35 GPM) for metallic, 177.9 LPM (47 GPM) for plastic |
| Maximum operating pressure | 120 psi (8.3 bar) for both models |
| Suspended solids max diameter | 6.4 mm (1/4 inch) for metallic, 3.2 mm (1/8 inch) for plastic |
| Maximum dry suction lift | 4.6 m (15 feet) for metallic, 6.1 m (20 feet) for plastic |
| Body materials | Aluminum, cast iron, 316 stainless steel, polypropylene |
| Weight | 8.6 kg (19 lbs) aluminum, 14.1 kg (31 lbs) cast iron, 16.3 kg (36 lbs) stainless steel, 9.2 kg (20.3 lbs) polypropylene |
Performance figures are transcribed from the Nuodean data sheet for this pump. Flow is measured at the pump discharge with water at ambient temperature; your duty point depends on air supply pressure, suction conditions, fluid viscosity and discharge head. Ask our engineers to confirm the duty point before you order.
Moving small batches of liquid between tanks or process steps where a larger pump would be oversized and inefficient.
Swapping a failed pump in a system that uses the WA platform, without changing the mounting or piping.
Transferring acids, alkalis or solvents in a lab or small production line where material compatibility is critical.
Moving sensitive liquids like emulsions or suspensions where minimal agitation is needed.
Compare the two core Nuodean AODD pump platforms to determine whether your facility needs the current generation DP3X or a direct like for like WA replacement.
Buying GuideSizing an air diaphragm pump from the existing pipe size or the headline maximum flow guarantees poor performance. Here is how to select the right displacement and port size from actual duty conditions.
Material GuideDiaphragm selection is a balance between mechanical flex life and chemical compatibility. Pick the right material to avoid premature failures and process contamination.
Yes, as long as the new model is from the WA series and has the same port size and mounting dimensions. The 1 inch WA pumps are designed to be drop-in replacements for each other across body materials.
Use the polypropylene model for acids and alkalis. The metallic versions are not suitable for strong corrosive fluids and may degrade quickly.
The plastic model has a higher dry suction lift of 6.1 m (20 feet), while the metallic model lifts 4.6 m (15 feet). This makes the plastic version better for high lift applications.
We do not publish an ATEX certificate. The pumps are air driven and do not use electric motors, which makes them suitable for use in hazardous areas. If certification is required, contact us to confirm what documentation is available.
Lead time depends on the body material and elastomer combination. Send the model code and quantity to [email protected] and we will confirm the delivery date with your quote.
Tell us the fluid, the flow rate, the discharge head and the solids size. We will recommend the correct model and send the full part number.
