These pumps exist because a standard AODD cannot do the job. Each model solves a specific operational challenge: high pressure in long lines, dry powder transfer, or passage of large solids.
Each pump is built for a single, demanding duty. The 2:1 triple diaphragm pumps for high pressure spray, the dry powder pump for bulk solids, and the flap valve pump for oversized solids.

133 LPM at 7 bar fluid pressure from a 23 kg pump. The 2:1 ratio delivers high pressure without needing high air supply.

90 GPM at 7 bar from a 50 kg triple diaphragm pump. The 2:1 ratio delivers high pressure without needing more air.

Transfer dry powders up to 45 lbs per cubic foot with a portable, self-contained system. No complex piping or fixed installations.

647 LPM and 8.3 bar from a 130 kg pump built for 50 mm solids. The only AODD in the range with a horizontal fluid path.

172 GPM and up to 200 psi fluid pressure from a 90 kg triple diaphragm design. The high pressure workhorse of the Specialty series.
View Specifications →Plants that face tasks where standard AODD pumps fail: pressure drop, clogging, or material damage.

Each model addresses a failure mode that standard AODD pumps cannot overcome.
Two diaphragms drive one discharge stroke, increasing pressure output without raising air pressure. This allows 100 psi output with standard air supply.
A single, wide-opening flap valve allows 50 mm solids to pass without obstruction. The valve seat is reinforced for wear resistance in abrasive service.
No air assist or external feed mechanism. The pump draws powder directly from a hopper and moves it in a sealed, non-aerated stream.

Performance figures are transcribed from the Nuodean data sheet for this pump. Flow is measured at the pump discharge with water at ambient temperature; your duty point depends on air supply pressure, suction conditions, fluid viscosity and discharge head. Ask our engineers to confirm the duty point before you order.
High pressure output at 100 psi is maintained over 100 feet of hose, allowing consistent spray pattern and atomization in industrial coating lines.
Bulk powder moves from silo to reactor without air carryover, preventing dust clouds and material degradation.
Sludge or industrial waste with 50 mm chunks passes through the pump without clogging or damage to the diaphragm.
The 2 inch triple diaphragm pump delivers 172 GPM at 100 psi, suitable for high volume transfer in chemical or food processing.
By stepping down effective fluid surface area relative to drive air surface area, a 2:1 triple diaphragm pump overcomes discharge heads that stall conventional double diaphragm pumps.
Working PrincipleFollow one full stroke through the pilot valve, the major air valve and both liquid chambers, and the rest of the pump stops being mysterious.
Material GuideCompare aluminum, cast iron, stainless steel and non metallic bodies by fluid, duty and weight, not by habit.
No. Standard AODD pumps rely on fluid to seal the diaphragm and prime the pump. Dry powder cannot provide this seal, leading to air leaks and failed starts. The dry powder pump is designed to start and run dry.
The 2:1 design uses two diaphragms to push one discharge stroke, doubling the force without increasing air pressure. This allows 100 psi output from a standard 80 psi air supply.
The flap valve pump passes solids up to 2 inches (50 mm) in diameter. The valve opens fully and the flow path is unobstructed, allowing large chunks to pass without jamming.
We do not publish an ATEX certificate. The pumps are air driven with no electric motor, which reduces ignition risk. If your application requires certification, contact us to confirm what documentation is available.
Lead time depends on the model and material combination. The dry powder pump and flap valve pump are built to order. Send the model code and quantity for a confirmed delivery date.
Send the material type, flow, pressure, and solid size. We will recommend the right model and provide the full code.
