WA is a separate product line maintained alongside DP3X. It serves users who already operate WA pumps or need metallic and plastic bodies across 1 inch to 3 inch on a dedicated platform. No DP3X features are claimed.
Metallic bodies in aluminum, cast iron and stainless steel, plastic in polypropylene. All models share the same port sizes and pressure rating.

Two 1 inch WA pumps, one metallic, one plastic. Designed for like for like replacement and small transfer duties.
Mid range transfer on the WA platform. Two models with metallic or plastic wetted parts, flow to 378.5 LPM, solids to 6.4 mm.
Two 2 inch WA pumps for high volume transfer. Metallic and plastic bodies, 651 LPM max flow, 8.3 bar pressure, 6.4 mm solids.
The largest metallic pump in the WA series. 3 inch port, 897 LPM flow, 8.3 bar pressure, 9.5 mm solids handling.
Operators who have standardized on WA pumps, or who need a second platform for body material variety without changing size or pressure.

The WA series was not redesigned to fix DP3X issues. It was kept as a stable platform for users who rely on its consistent design and part interchangeability.
All WA pumps use the same air end and mounting dimensions. A 1 inch model can be swapped with a 3 inch model without changing the base plate or piping.
Each port size offers multiple body materials. For example, 1-1/2 inch WA pumps are available in aluminum, stainless steel and cast iron.
Polypropylene bodies are available in 1-1/2 inch and 2 inch, which are not offered in the DP3X series.
The WA series does not include the air distribution improvements or ceramic seals found in DP3X. It is not designed to match those features.

Performance figures are transcribed from the Nuodean data sheet for this pump. Flow is measured at the pump discharge with water at ambient temperature; your duty point depends on air supply pressure, suction conditions, fluid viscosity and discharge head. Ask our engineers to confirm the duty point before you order.
A single plant uses aluminum for water, stainless steel for acids, and polypropylene for alkalis, all on the same 2 inch size.
A 3 inch polypropylene WA pump handles high flow from a tank farm without corrosion, while a 2 inch aluminum model handles clean water.
A 1-1/2 inch cast iron WA pump moves cutting fluid through a machine tool, while a 1 inch stainless steel model handles coolant.
A 1 inch WA pump fails. The replacement is ordered from the same model code, and the base plate and piping remain unchanged.
Compare the two core Nuodean AODD pump platforms to determine whether your facility needs the current generation DP3X or a direct like for like WA replacement.
Buying GuideSizing an air diaphragm pump from the existing pipe size or the headline maximum flow guarantees poor performance. Here is how to select the right displacement and port size from actual duty conditions.
Material GuideDiaphragm selection is a balance between mechanical flex life and chemical compatibility. Pick the right material to avoid premature failures and process contamination.
No. The WA series uses a different air end and mounting design. Parts from DP3X pumps are not interchangeable with WA models.
These sizes are not available in the DP3X series. The WA platform supports polypropylene bodies in larger sizes for chemical transfer and corrosion resistance.
Yes, but the air end, mounting and piping may not match. Check the drawings and dimensions before ordering. We can provide a comparison if needed.
We do not publish an ATEX certificate. The pumps are air driven with no electric motor, which is why AODD pumps are often specified in hazardous areas, but if you need certification for the installation ask us first and we will tell you exactly what documentation exists.
It depends on the model code and the quantity, since material combinations are built to order. Send the code and the quantity and we will confirm a date with the quotation.
Send the fluid, the flow, the discharge head and your available air pressure. We will pick the size, the body material and the elastomers and send the full model code.
