Tube and Finned Tube for Petrochemical and Refining
Refinery heat transfer equipment fails in two ways: the fire side fouls and the process side corrodes. Fanbang supplies both sides of that problem - welded fin geometries that stay clean and alloy tube that resists the stream.
What Fails First in Petrochemical and Refining
Slag bridging in fired heater sections
Continuous fins blind over in slagging furnace duty.
Convection banks fouling between turnarounds
Ash and soot cut heat recovery long before the next scheduled clean.
Acid corrosion in process streams
Sulphuric, phosphoric and mixed acid service defeats standard stainless.
Long lead times on alloy replacements
Heater tubes needed on a turnaround date, not a mill schedule.
Tube We Supply Into This Sector
Stud Fin Tube
Individually welded studs for the dirtiest furnace and process heater duty
Base tube diameter: 38 mm - 273 mm · Base tube wall thickness: 3.5 mm - 10.0 mm
H/HH Fin Tube
Split square fins welded in pairs, leaving a straight ash lane along the tube
Base tube diameter: 25 mm - 73 mm · Base tube wall thickness: 3.0 mm - 6.0 mm
Nickel / Nickel Alloy Tube
Monel, Inconel, Incoloy and Hastelloy grade seamless tube for the hardest corrosion duty
Tube outside diameter: 1/2" - 3" (12 mm - 76.2 mm) · Tube wall thickness: 0.02" - 0.5" (0.5 mm - 12.0 mm)
Extruded Fin Tube
Bimetal tube with the fin extruded from an outer sleeve, giving a seamless fin-to-tube wall
Base tube diameter: 10 mm - 51 mm · Base tube wall thickness: 1.65 mm - 3.0 mm
Longitudinal Fin Tube
Straight fins welded along the tube axis for viscous fluids and low velocity gas
Base tube diameter: 12 mm - 273 mm · Base tube wall thickness: 2.11 mm - 25.4 mmWhere It Goes
- Fired heater radiant and shield sections
- Convection banks and waste heat recovery
- Air cooled process coolers in corrosive plant atmospheres
- Acid and sour service process lines

How We Deliver Into This Industry
Alloy grade, fin geometry and certification requirements are fixed before production starts, so the heater tube that arrives is the one the specification called for.
Production runs on 25 rolling and cold drawing machines plus 23 fin lines and machines, with hydro, eddy current, mechanical and chemical testing performed in house. The company holds ISO 9001:2015, CE certificate, Production licence for pressure pipe and ships to the European, American and Gulf markets.

Petrochemical and Refining Questions
What suits a slagging fired heater section?
Stud fin tube. Discrete studs leave gaps in every direction so slag cannot bridge across a continuous surface.
Which alloys do you supply for acid service?
Nickel alloys including Hastelloy B2, B3, C276 and C22, Alloy 20, 28 and 31, plus Incoloy 825 - selected from the stream composition.
Can you produce to API 5CRA?
Yes, corrosion resistant alloy seamless tube to API 5CRA / ISO 13680 for casing, tubing and coupling stock.
How do you handle turnaround deadlines?
Tell us the required delivery date with the enquiry. Production is scheduled against the date rather than quoted and then scheduled.
