Quality is part of every aspect of our company. We work with well known raw material suppliers including Yongxing steel, and inspect the goods carefully during every process.
What Each Test Is Looking For
Eight checks, carried out on our own equipment rather than sent out and waited for.
Eddy current
Scans the full tube length for surface and near-surface discontinuities.
Hydro test
Proves the tube against internal pressure and finds through-wall defects.
Tensile testing
Establishes yield, tensile strength and elongation against the specification.
Flattening testing
Checks ductility and how the tube behaves when it is deformed.
Flaring testing
Confirms the tube end can be expanded without splitting - what a rolled joint does to it.
Hardness testing
Verifies hardness where the grade or the service requires a limit.
Chemical testing
Confirms composition on the spectrometer and the direct-reading optical emission spectrometer.
Dimension inspection
Diameter, wall, length, straightness and, on finned tube, fin pitch and fin height.

Third party and customer witnessed inspection can be arranged if it is agreed at enquiry stage, so the test plan is fixed before production starts.
Quality and Certification Questions
Which tests are applied to every tube?
Eddy current and hydrostatic testing. Mechanical and chemical tests follow the sampling rules of the applicable ASTM or ASME specification.
What certificates do you hold?
ISO 9001:2015, a CE certificate and a production licence for pressure pipe.
Can we witness the testing?
Yes, third party and customer witnessed inspection can be arranged if it is agreed at enquiry stage.
Do certificates ship with the goods?
Yes. Testing is done in house, so certificates travel with the shipment rather than following it.
