Boiler and Heat Recovery Surface
Economizer surface is chosen by what the flue gas carries, not by what the duty calculation alone suggests. Four geometries cover the range from clean gas to slagging furnace duty.
From Enquiry to Delivery
Seven steps, each with a decision that belongs to it. Nothing is left to be discovered at assembly.
What This Solution Uses
Spiral Fin Tube
Continuously welded helical fin for boiler, economizer and flue gas duty
Base tube diameter: 15 mm - 70 mm · Base tube wall thickness: 2.0 mm - 15.0 mm
H/HH Fin Tube
Split square fins welded in pairs, leaving a straight ash lane along the tube
Base tube diameter: 25 mm - 73 mm · Base tube wall thickness: 3.0 mm - 6.0 mm
Stud Fin Tube
Individually welded studs for the dirtiest furnace and process heater duty
Base tube diameter: 38 mm - 273 mm · Base tube wall thickness: 3.5 mm - 10.0 mm
Longitudinal Fin Tube
Straight fins welded along the tube axis for viscous fluids and low velocity gas
Base tube diameter: 12 mm - 273 mm · Base tube wall thickness: 2.11 mm - 25.4 mmWhat Sits Behind the Promise
- 25 rolling and cold drawing machines in the seamless tube workshop
- 23 fin machines and lines across eight fin geometries
- Tubesheets machined to 5000 mm outside diameter and 750 mm thickness
- Hydro, eddy current, mechanical, chemical and dimensional testing in house
- ISO 9001:2015, CE certificate, Production licence for pressure pipe

Boiler and Heat Recovery Surface Questions
How is fin pitch decided?
From flue gas dust loading first, then checked against gas side pressure drop. Duty fixes fin height and bank depth afterwards.
Which geometry for a biomass boiler economizer?
H or HH type, towards the open end of the 9.0 mm to 30.0 mm fin pitch range.
Can fin and tube be different materials?
Yes - carbon steel, stainless steel or alloy steel fin on stainless, carbon, alloy or nickel base tube.
Do you supply pressure part tubes?
Base tube wall and certification are specified for pressure part duty when you state that requirement at enquiry stage.
Start With the Drawing
Send the bundle drawing, the process data or the tube schedule. The first thing you get back is a list of what is missing, not an invoice.
