Three Workshops From Billet to Bundle

Seamless tube, finned tube and tubesheets are produced in house, which is why one drawing can govern all three.

Workshops

What Each Shop Does

25 rolling and cold drawing machines

Seamless Tube Workshop

Billet is pierced and rolled to a mother hollow, then cold drawn to the finished diameter and wall. Cold drawing is what lets a bundle be built on the size the design calls for rather than the nearest stock size.

23 machines and production lines

Fin Tube Workshop

Ten extruded fin machines, six G and L type lines, three spiral lines, two H/HH lines and two longitudinal lines. Eight fin geometries under one roof means the bond is selected on engineering grounds.

Plates to 5000 mm diameter

Tubesheet Workshop

Plate is faced, drilled to the bundle layout and grooved where the joint design requires it, up to 750 mm thick with tube holes to 120 mm.

FAQ

Manufacturing Questions

How many production lines do you run?

25 rolling and cold drawing machines in the seamless tube workshop, plus ten extruded fin machines, six G and L type lines, three spiral lines, two H/HH lines and two longitudinal lines.

Do you buy in bare tube?

The seamless tube workshop produces our own bare tube, which is then finned in house or supplied bare.

Where does the raw material come from?

From established suppliers including Yongxing steel.

Can we visit the works?

Visits and customer inspections can be arranged. Email [email protected] to agree a date.
