PVDF, ETFE and PF films — the outer skin that replaces front glass.
The front film takes the entire UV and weather load for 25 years while giving away as little light as possible. Three chemistries sit at different points on that trade-off: ETFE for the highest transmittance and a self-cleaning surface, PVDF for a matte low-gloss finish with over 40% fluorine content, and PF where thinness and water blocking matter most.
