PV Encapsulation Materials
Backsheets and encapsulant films produced at 100 million m² a year for module manufacturers who are judged on 25-year warranties.
A module fails at its edges, not in its cells. Water vapour creeps through the backsheet, UV chalks the outer coating, the encapsulant yellows or migrates, and by year twelve the warranty curve and the real curve have parted company. Hondol develops and manufactures the materials that decide that outcome, at a scale that lets tier-one module makers qualify a single source.
The range covers transparent, white, black, grid and aluminium-based backsheets, EVA, EPE and POE encapsulant films, and fluorine-free chemistry for customers who need to remove fluoropolymers from the bill of materials. Every family is on the same TÜV Rheinland-certified platform, so switching series does not restart your qualification.
