EVA cost with POE moisture barrier and PID resistance.
EPE is the compromise that stopped being a compromise: an EVA / POE / EVA co-extrusion that keeps EVA's price and lamination behaviour while taking on POE's moisture barrier and PID resistance. It is the usual answer for TOPCon lines that cannot justify full POE on both sides.
