The DP32-25 is a one inch triple diaphragm pump in the Specialty series, built for applications where standard AODD pumps cannot generate enough pressure. It uses a 2:1 discharge ratio to double the fluid pressure output for a given air supply. With a maximum air inlet pressure of 100 psi (7 bar), it delivers a fluid pressure range of 20 to 200 psi (1.4 to 14 bar). It moves up to 133 LPM at full air supply, passes solids to 3.2 mm, and lifts 6.1 m dry. The pump is designed for high pressure duty where a standard pump would stall or fail to deliver.
| Maximum flow rate | 35GPM (133LPM) |
|---|---|
| Maximum operating pressure | 100psi (7bar) |
| Fluid pressure range | 20-200psi (1.4-14bar) |
| Suspended solids max diameter | 1/8" (3.2mm) |
| Fluid inlet | 1"BSPT Or 1"NPT |
The triple diaphragm design is not about more flow. It is about pressure. This pump makes high pressure without needing high air pressure.
The 2:1 ratio applies air pressure to a larger diaphragm surface area than the fluid side, so the fluid output pressure is doubled. A 100 psi air supply gives up to 200 psi fluid pressure without changing the air end.
The pump operates on standard 100 psi air, so no high pressure compressor or air receiver is needed. It fits into existing air systems without modification.
The air end is designed to handle the full 100 psi air inlet pressure, and the fluid end is built for 14 bar. The pump does not stall or lose flow when the discharge pressure rises.
At 23 kg, it is less than half the weight of the 1.5 inch triple diaphragm pump at 50 kg. This makes it easier to mount and move between stations.
At 70 dB(A) at 70 psi and 60 cycles per minute, it is quieter than most high pressure pumps. A piped exhaust reduces it further.
Port positions, mounting holes and overall envelope match the major AODD brands. The base, pipe spools and air line usually stay the same.
This pump is for plants that need high pressure but do not want to run a high pressure air system. It is for applications where a standard AODD pump cannot deliver the required pressure.
Every enquiry for this model starts with a pump that failed at one of these five things.
The pump delivers consistent pressure for dosing into a reactor or filling a high pressure vessel, even as the discharge head changes.
It feeds a high pressure spray nozzle or a cleaning rig, where the fluid must be delivered at 14 bar or more to break down residue.
It runs dry and can be dead headed, so it flushes lines and cleans tanks without damage, even under high pressure.
It feeds a reactor or a filter under pressure, where a standard pump would not generate enough force to push the fluid through.
The triple diaphragm design is not about more flow. It is about pressure. The 2:1 ratio is the key.
The air side diaphragm has twice the surface area of the fluid side. This means air pressure is applied over a larger area, doubling the fluid output pressure for the same air input.
Each diaphragm is sealed with a dual dynamic seal. The primary seal is the diaphragm itself, and the secondary seal is a backup in the diaphragm housing, reducing the risk of fluid leakage.
No oiler is fitted to the air inlet. The air distribution system is self lubricating and lube free, so there is no oil mist and no maintenance task.
The exhaust is designed to reduce noise. At 70 dB(A) it is quieter than most high pressure pumps, and a piped exhaust reduces it further.
Port positions, foot spacing and overall footprint are compatible with the major AODD brands, so the base, pipe spools and air line usually stay the same.
Center body, fluid caps, manifold, seat, ball check, diaphragm and hardware are each chosen in the model code rather than fixed at the factory.

Performance figures are transcribed from the Nuodean data sheet for this pump. Flow is measured at the pump discharge with water at ambient temperature; your duty point depends on air supply pressure, suction conditions, fluid viscosity and discharge head. Ask our engineers to confirm the duty point before you order.
Where this pump wins and where you should be buying something else.
| Versus the 1.5 inch triple diaphragm pump | The 1.5 inch model delivers 340.7 LPM at 7 bar, but weighs 50 kg. Choose the 1 inch model when you need high pressure and lower weight, not more flow. |
|---|---|
| Versus the 2 inch triple diaphragm pump | The 2 inch model gives 651 LPM at 6.9 bar, but weighs 90 kg. Use the 1 inch model when you need high pressure and portability, not volume. |
| Versus the 1 inch ZG series pump | The ZG series reaches 150 LPM at 8.4 bar, but is not designed for 2:1 pressure doubling. Choose the triple diaphragm pump when you need up to 14 bar. |
| Versus the 1 inch DP3X aluminum pump | The DP3X model gives 651 LPM at 8.3 bar, but cannot deliver 14 bar. Choose the triple diaphragm pump when you need pressure, not flow. |
| Versus a centrifugal pump with a pressure booster | The booster adds cost, complexity and maintenance. This pump delivers high pressure directly from air, with no extra parts or power source. |
| Versus a piston pump | The piston pump requires a motor, a drive system and more maintenance. This pump runs on air, is self priming and can be run dry. |
Five things that decide whether this pump does 133 LPM or half of it.
Flow and pressure follow air. Use the full 100 psi inlet, keep the hose short and confirm the compressor can hold pressure at the flow the pump asks for.
Throttle the discharge or the air, never the suction. Starving the suction causes cavitation, hard running and short diaphragm life.
Diaphragm and ball material is chosen in the model code. Get the chemistry right and the pump lasts. Get it wrong and nothing else you do will save it.
The published 6.1 m is a dry lift figure. Priming a flooded suction is easier, so put the pump below the tank where the layout allows.
One air section kit, DP32-Air25, and one fluid section kit, DP32-Flu25, coded for your diaphragm and ball material. Between them they cover almost every wear part.

35 GPM, which is 133 LPM, is the maximum with a free discharge and full air supply. Real duty points are lower. Send us the discharge head and the air pressure you can hold and we will tell you where on the curve you land.
Yes. An air operated double diaphragm pump can be run dry and can be dead headed against a closed valve without damage. That is the main reason plants choose one over a centrifugal pump.
1/8 inch, which is 3.2 mm, on the suspended solids figure from the data sheet. If your fluid carries bigger solids, look at the 3 inch models at 9.5 mm or the heavy duty flap valve pump at 50 mm.
Usually yes. The DP3X pumps are built so that installation dimensions and footprint are compatible with other brands. Send a photo of the nameplate and the pipework and we will confirm before you buy.
PTFE with a Santoprene backing for aggressive solvents and acids, Santoprene for general duty and long flex life, Hytrel for high temperature and abrasion, nitrile for petroleum products. Tell us the fluid and the temperature and we will put the right code on the quotation.
70 dB(A) at 70 psi and 60 cycles per minute, as printed on the data sheet. Slower cycling is quieter, and a piped exhaust takes more off.
Fluid inlet and outlet are 1 inch BSPT or 1 inch NPT. The air inlet is 1/4 inch BSPT female, with 1/4 inch NPT available on request.
