Heat sinks, mobile phone cases, cavity filters and more: we handle your parts and assemblies from prototype through production, in whichever materials the application requires.
Electronics work is dominated by two constraints. Hole and boss positions have to line up with a populated board, and thermal parts have to conduct heat, which is why so much of this work ends up in aluminum.
How We Support This Sector
| Component | Material | What Drives the Design |
|---|---|---|
| Heat sinks | Aluminum 6061 or 6063 | Thermal conductivity around three times that of iron |
| Mobile phone cases | Aluminum, machined and anodized | Surface appearance and dimensional fit |
| Cavity filters | Aluminum, silver plated where required | Internal cavity accuracy and plating consistency |
| Chassis and shielding | Sheet metal in aluminum or steel | Hole positions matching the populated board |
| Connector and insulator parts | Brass, PTFE, nylon | Conductivity or insulation as the circuit requires |
Capability Behind These Parts
Machining Tolerance

Milling and Turning
Milling 2 to 1000 mm diameter and turning 1 to 300 mm bar, both at +/-0.005 mm.
Materials
Aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium, brass, copper and engineering plastics.
Inspection
First piece, in-process and final inspection, with certification at every stage on request.
Electronics Industry FAQ
Why is aluminum used for so many electronics parts?
Thermal conductivity around three times that of iron, low weight and a surface that anodizes well. That combination is hard to beat for heat sinks and housings.
Can you plate cavity filters?
Electroplating is one of our standard finishes. Tell us the plating specification at quotation so it is planned into the process route.
Do you make prototype electronics enclosures?
Yes, machined and fabricated enclosures for prototypes are common work here, and the same drawings then carry through to production.
