What tolerance can FD Machinery hold?
Our machining tolerance is 0.005 to 0.01 mm with surface roughness below Ra 0.2. CNC milling and CNC turning are both quoted at +/-0.005 mm, and turning reaches Ra 0.4 straight from the lathe.
Do you accept prototypes and small quantities?
Yes. We produce prototype and limited production parts as well as volume production, and our stamping line covers single piece prototypes through to volumes in the tens of millions of pieces per year.
Can I get a sample before mass production?
Yes. Free samples are available before mass production so you can confirm fit and finish before committing to a full run.
Which materials do you work with?
Aluminum, steel, stainless steel, titanium, copper, brass, bronze and engineering plastics. All materials can be RoHS compliant upon request. The grade list is on our materials page.
Do you accept OEM and ODM projects?
Yes, OEM and ODM designs are welcomed. We are a contract manufacturer and work from your drawings, models or physical samples.
