Sheet metal is usually the right answer when a part is large, mostly flat, and needed in quantities that do not justify a stamping tool.

Choosing The Right Cutting Process
Laser Cutting
The default for most steel and stainless work, giving clean edges and accurate hole patterns.
Plasma Cutting
Used for thicker plate where laser becomes slow or uneconomical.
Waterjet Cutting
Used where a heat affected zone is unacceptable, or on materials sensitive to thermal cutting.
CNC Punching
Used where the hole pattern suits turret tooling, which is often faster and cheaper than cutting each hole.

Which cutting process will you use for my part?
Laser for most steel and stainless work, plasma for thicker plate, waterjet where heat affected zones are unacceptable, and CNC punching where the pattern suits turret tooling.
Do you weld and assemble?
Yes. Welding and assembling are part of our process list, so you can receive a finished weldment rather than loose parts.
Can you powder coat in house?
Powder coating is one of our standard finishes, alongside anodizing, sandblasting, polishing and electroplating.
Can you hold flatness on large panels?
Tell us the flatness callout at quotation. Large thin panels may need a thicker gauge or a stiffening feature to hold it, and we would rather say so before you order.
