What the four families do differently

The S1 series is the workhorse: cylindrical aluminium bodies at Ø35–Ø95 mm cut-out with the widest beam choice in the catalogue. The Circular Border series adds a visible trim ring that covers an imperfect ceiling cut. The Round Borderless series removes the ring entirely for plasterboard ceilings that are skimmed in. The Diamond series is the miniature range, Ø35–Ø80 mm, for cabinetry and low ceilings.

Choosing by cut-out first

Every product page lists the cut-out before the wattage, because on a refurbishment the hole is fixed and the wattage is not. If your ceiling is already drilled at Ø75 mm, the catalogue gives you 8 W, 12 W and 18 W options in that diameter across three different trims.

Beam angle and what it is for

15° and 24° are display beams — they put a bright pool on a product and leave the surround dark. 36° and 38° are general accent beams for washing a wall or a table. 50° and 60° behave like a downlight. The 5°, 8° and 10° options in the YY710 range are for tall atria and narrow display columns where the fitting is far from the target.
