When a trim ring is the right answer

A bordered fitting forgives a ragged or slightly oversized ceiling cut, which is why it dominates refurbishment work and mineral-fibre tile ceilings. It also gives the installer a tolerance band of a few millimetres on positioning.

WA01 against WA02

At the same cut-out the WA02 body is shorter — a Ø95 mm WA02-95 is 92.5 mm deep against 116 mm for the WA01-95, at the same 30 W. Pick WA02 where the plenum is shallow, WA01 where it is not and you want the deeper reflector.

Wattage ladder

5 W at Ø47 mm, 7 W at Ø45 and Ø55 mm, 10–12 W at Ø65 and Ø75 mm, 15–18 W at Ø65 and Ø75 mm on the WA02, 25 W at Ø85 mm and 30 W at Ø95 mm. All use the 1313-08 or 1616-11 COB module and offer 15°, 24°, 36° and 50°.
