How It Compares With the Alternatives

Getting It Right on the First Roll
Load with the coated (printable) side facing the thermal head; the coated side darkens when scratched with a fingernail.
Set the printer to direct thermal mode and calibrate on the gap sensor before the first batch.
Store rolls at 23 +/- 2 degrees C and 50 +/- 5 percent RH, away from solvents, plasticisers and direct sunlight.
Apply above 10 degrees C so the hot melt adhesive wets the surface properly.

Any size, and square, rectangle, round or oval dies. Ribbons are slit from 30 mm to 110 mm and 30 m to 900 m.

Paper, BOPP, PET and PE facestocks with hot melt, acrylic, removable or freezer adhesive.

CMYK, Pantone, full colour, transparent, gold and silver, by offset, flexo, screen, digital, inkjet or thermal transfer.

Can you print our logo in a specific brand colour?
Yes. Custom material, size, colour and design are all available, and the label is supplied under the NP-Label brand or with no branding at all. Send artwork or an original sample and the design service is free.
How many labels come on one roll?
Between 500 and 10,000 pieces per roll, or a custom count. Core sizes are 1 in, 1.5 in and 3 in, so the roll can be matched to the printer you already use.
Will the print survive a wet or oily environment?
The facestock has a thermal protective coating with water, oil, plasticiser, scratch and weather resistance, which is why it is used for fresh food, shipping and medicine labels.
Is the paper BPA free?
Yes. The thermal coating used on this label is BPA free.
Can we get a sample before ordering?
