Print that lasts as long as the garment
A care label is read at the point of sale and again every wash for years. A wash care resin formulation is built to stay legible through that, not just through the first fitting.
Formulated for textile tape, not paper
Polyester satin and nylon taffeta are low-energy surfaces. Standard resin sits on top; the wash care grade anchors into the tape.
One ribbon family, many widths
30 mm to 110 mm from the same coating, so a narrow care label and a wide size tape can run on the same print settings.
Ink side to suit the printer you own
Ink in or ink out, on a 0.5 in or 1 in core, which removes the adapter and the guesswork when the ribbon reaches the plant.

How It Compares With the Alternatives
A wax ribbon will not print on satin tape at all. A general resin ribbon will print but is formulated for PET, PVC and PE film labels rather than woven textile, so wash durability is lower. The wash care grade sits between them: the same resin scratch resistance, with a binder chosen for textile tape.

Getting It Right on the First Roll
Match the ribbon width to the tape width plus a small margin; running a much wider ribbon wastes ink and can crease.
Confirm ink side and core size against the printer before ordering; both are specified at manufacture, not adjustable later.
Set a lower print speed and a slightly higher head temperature than for paper labels to let the resin bond to the tape.
Test one printed label through your customer's stated wash cycle before releasing a bulk run.

Any size, and square, rectangle, round or oval dies. Ribbons are slit from 30 mm to 110 mm and 30 m to 900 m.
Material and adhesive
Paper, BOPP, PET and PE facestocks with hot melt, acrylic, removable or freezer adhesive.
Print and colour
CMYK, Pantone, full colour, transparent, gold and silver, by offset, flexo, screen, digital, inkjet or thermal transfer.
Core and winding
1 in, 1.5 in and 3 in label cores; 0.5 in and 1 in ribbon cores; piece counts and winding direction set to your printer.

What is the minimum order quantity?
20 rolls. Widths from 30 mm to 110 mm and lengths from 30 m to 900 m are available, with 300 m and 450 m the usual stock lengths.
Can you supply colours other than black?
Yes. Black, white, gold, red, yellow, blue, green, grey and custom colours are available on the ZHIYE ribbon range.
How long does production take?
Within 7 to 15 days of receipt of the deposit. OEM service is available if the ribbon needs your own brand on the core or the packaging.
Will it print on nylon taffeta as well as polyester satin?
The grade is made for garment tapes of this type. Free material samples are provided so the ribbon can be tested against your exact tape before you commit.
Do you ship ink in or ink out?
Both. The printer decides: it fixes the maximum ribbon width and length, the ink side, and whether the head is flat or near edge. Tell us the printer model and the ribbon is built to match.
