Ultra thin stainless steel strip is the family Yongxin was built around. It is cold rolled on 4-Hi and 20-Hi 650 mm mills, annealed in house and released only after chemistry, hardness, tensile and surface have been checked in our own laboratory.

Ultra thin stainless steel foil and coil covers the gauges where ordinary service centre material stops being reliable. Below roughly 0.2 mm a small drift in thickness or hardness changes how the strip springs back, how a die wears and whether a weld or a laser cut behaves. Yongxin rolls this band as a routine product rather than as an exception.
The strip is supplied in SUS304, SUS301, 316L and SUS430 as standard, and in other grades when the customer specifies them. Thickness runs from 0.05 mm to 1.0 mm and width from 10 mm to 610 mm, which covers narrow slit ribbon for contacts as well as wide strip for shields and enclosures. Temper is available across ANN, 1/4H, 1/2H, 3/4H, FH and EH so the same grade can be ordered soft for deep forming or hard for spring behaviour.
Surface finish and roughness are made to the customer requirement. If you cannot describe the finish in words, send a control sample chip and we will roll a sample to match it and send that sample to you for approval before bulk production starts.

Thickness Drift Between Coils
A change of a few microns between coils forces the press shop to re shim the die. Yongxin holds the rolled gauge to the agreed tolerance across and along the coil.
Inconsistent Hardness
Strip that arrives softer or harder than the last delivery changes springback and scrap rate. Annealing and temper rolling are controlled in house and verified by hardness and tensile testing.
Surface Not Fit for the Next Process
Coating, etching, welding and laser cutting all react to surface roughness and residual oil. The degreasing line and the specified finish remove that variable.
Grade Confusion Across Standards
