How It Compares With the Alternatives
Wax is the correct answer whenever the label is paper. Move to wax resin when the label is PP synthetic paper, matte coated paper or a glossy paper that a wax print would scratch off. Move to full resin only when the label is PET, PVC, PE or PP film. Paying for resin on a paper label buys nothing.

Getting It Right on the First Roll
Confirm the printer's maximum ribbon width and length before ordering; 110 mm x 300 m fits most industrial 4 in printers.
Match ribbon width to label width; a ribbon much wider than the label wastes ink and can wrinkle.
Set ink side to match the printer's ribbon path, ink out for most Zebra industrial models.
If the printed barcode scratches with a fingernail, the label is not paper and the job needs a wax resin or resin ribbon instead.

Any size, and square, rectangle, round or oval dies. Ribbons are slit from 30 mm to 110 mm and 30 m to 900 m.

Paper, BOPP, PET and PE facestocks with hot melt, acrylic, removable or freezer adhesive.

CMYK, Pantone, full colour, transparent, gold and silver, by offset, flexo, screen, digital, inkjet or thermal transfer.

Is this ribbon genuinely compatible with Zebra printers?
It is a compatible ribbon built to the width, length, core size and ink side those printers use. Give us the exact model and the roll is specified to it.
Which labels should I not use it on?
Film labels. Wax will not bond properly to PET, PVC, PE or PP, and the print will rub away. Use a resin ribbon for those, or wax resin for PP synthetic paper and glossy coated paper.
What widths and lengths can I order?
30 mm to 110 mm wide and 30 m to 900 m long, with 300 m and 450 m held as the usual lengths. 0.5 in and 1 in cores, ink in or ink out.
What is the lead time?
7 to 15 days from receipt of deposit, with a 20 roll minimum. The ribbons are coated and slit in our own plant in Central China rather than bought in.
Can we have our own brand on the ribbon?
Yes, OEM service is available for the core, the label and the packaging.
