Phosphoric Acid 85% (H3PO4, CAS 7664-38-2) is food-grade orthophosphoric acid supplied as a colourless, odourless, non-volatile syrupy liquid at 85% concentration in water. It is the working concentration most beverage, phosphate-salt and metal-treatment plants buy, because at 85% the acid stays liquid at ambient warehouse temperature and can be metered straight into a dosing line without a dilution step upstream.
