What This Model Is For
The FT019T is an integrated outdoor weather sensor that measures temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, wind direction, sunlight index and UV index, then transmits all data to a console every 16 seconds over a 433MHz link. It is designed for brands that need a complete outdoor sensor unit without managing separate components or RF development. The sensor uses three AA batteries with solar assist to extend life, and its compact size allows mounting on a standard mast without redesigning the support structure.
- All weather parameters measured in one unit: temperature, humidity, rain, wind, sunlight and UV
- 16 second transmission interval ensures real-time data without averaging out gusts or rapid changes
- 433MHz link reaches 100m in open air, suitable for single-family homes and small commercial sites
- Solar assist reduces battery drain, extending life in sunny conditions
- Shared housing and protocol with other UCTECH sensors allows for easy product line expansion
Where It Is Used
- Rooftop weather stations sold under a distributor's own brand with full environmental monitoring
- Agricultural and horticultural sites needing real-time UV and wind data for crop protection decisions
- Building services and HVAC integrators monitoring outdoor conditions for system control
- Marine and pool equipment suppliers adding weather data to smart control systems
- Cold chain and logistics sites tracking UV and temperature for sensitive material handling
Who It Is For
- Consumer electronics brands launching a weather station with full environmental coverage
- Distributors replacing a sensor that failed after one season due to battery drain or RF loss
- Agricultural integrators bundling UV and wind data with irrigation or spray systems
- HVAC and building automation teams needing outdoor environmental inputs without wiring
Problems It Solves
- Sensors that measure only temperature and humidity, missing critical UV and wind data
- Separate units for wind and rain requiring multiple mounts and higher failure points
- Battery-only sensors that need replacement every few months in summer
- RF links that fail beyond 30m, limiting placement to within sight of the console
- Lack of UV and sunlight data in sensors that only report temperature and rain
Technical Features
- Measures outdoor temperature from -40 to +60 degrees C with 0.3 degrees C accuracy
- Measures humidity from 1 to 99 percent RH with 3 percent accuracy
- Rain volume up to 9999 mm with 0.3 mm resolution below 1000 mm and 1 mm above
- Wind speed from 0 to 50 m/s with 0.3 m/s accuracy between 2 and 10 m/s, 10 percent above 10 m/s
- Wind direction across 0 to 360 degrees with 10 degree accuracy
- Sunlight index from 0 to 200,000 Lux with 15 percent accuracy
- UV index from 1 to 15+ with 1 level accuracy
- Transmits every 16 seconds over 433MHz RF
- Solar-assisted power with three AA batteries as backup

Materials and Construction
- Moulded plastic housing for the sensor body
- Integrated solar panel on the sensor top
- Weather sealed battery compartment sized for 3 x AA cells
How It Is Made
Sensor sub-assemblies are populated and soldered on our own assembly line
Housings are sealed and checked on rainfall and waterproof test equipment
Every unit is ageing tested before it leaves the factory
Quality Control
- Rainfall and waterproof testing on the assembled sensor
- Constant temperature and humidity chamber runs covering the -40 to +60 degrees C range
- Vibration testing to simulate transport and mast loading
- Smog ageing to verify housing and seal integrity
- Final ageing test on every unit before packing
Customisation Options
- Own-label printing and retail packaging
- Console pairing to a customer's existing UCTECH-protocol display
- Alternative battery configurations on request
- Manual and quick start guide in the destination language
Compared With the Alternatives
vs Separate sensors for temperature, humidity, rain and wind
One unit reduces mounting hardware, wiring and failure points, but limits the ability to place sensors at different locations
vs Wired sensors such as the FT019T with cable
No trenching or conduit needed, but range is limited to 100m and battery life is shorter than solar-assisted units
vs LoRa sensors in our FT0310 and FT0832 range
433MHz is lower cost and sufficient for a single property; LoRa is better for large sites with multiple sensors
Use Guide
- Mount the sensor clear of walls and roof edges, ideally 2m above the nearest obstruction
- Align the direction marking to true north before tightening the mast clamp
- Use lithium AA batteries for sites that drop below freezing
- Pair with the console before mounting the sensor on the mast
- Check the rain collector and clear debris at the start of each season
FT019T Weather Station Sensor-UV Questions
What is the real range between the sensor and the console
100m in open air. Through walls, foliage and a roof, plan for around 30m, which covers a typical house and garden.
How often does it update
Every 16 seconds, which is short enough that gusts and rapid changes show up rather than being averaged out.
Does the solar panel charge the batteries
No. The panel supplies the sensor during daylight and the AA cells carry it through the night and dull weather, so cell life is much longer than a battery-only sensor.
Can it work with a console we already sell
If that console is on the UCTECH 433MHz protocol, yes. Send us the model and we will confirm before you order.
What is the lead time and minimum order
Tell us the quantity and target ship date and we will confirm both by email. Lead time depends on whether own-label printing and packaging are involved.
Which certifications does it carry
TBC. Ask us for the current certificate set for your destination market before you place the order.
