What This Model Is For
The FT026T is a full-featured outdoor weather sensor that measures temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and wind direction, then transmits all data to a console every 16 seconds over a 433MHz link. It is designed to work with UCTECH's existing console systems, so a brand can integrate it into an existing product line without redesigning the display or protocol. The sensor uses four AAA batteries with no solar assist, making it suitable for sites where solar exposure is limited or not required.
- All five weather parameters measured in one unit: temperature, humidity, rain, wind speed, and wind direction
- 16 second transmission interval ensures real-time data without averaging out gusts
- 433MHz link reaches 100m in open air, sufficient for most residential and small commercial sites
- No solar panel means simpler design and lower cost for applications where battery life is not a concern
- Shares the UCTECH console protocol, so it drops into existing product lines without firmware changes
Where It Is Used
- Rooftop and garden weather stations sold under a distributor's own brand
- Small farms and greenhouses needing local weather data without a wired system
- Schools and visitor centres with outdoor displays that need reliable, low-maintenance sensors
- HVAC and building services integrators adding weather data to climate control systems
- Marina and pool operators monitoring local conditions for safety and maintenance
Who It Is For
- Consumer electronics brands adding a full weather sensor to an existing console line
- Distributors replacing a sensor that failed after one season due to poor battery life or RF dropouts
- Agricultural suppliers bundling sensors with irrigation or climate control systems
- Integrators who need a battery-powered sensor because trenching or cabling is not feasible
Problems It Solves
- Sensors that report only temperature and humidity, forcing brands to add separate wind and rain units
- RF links that fail beyond 30m, limiting placement to within sight of the console
- Battery-only sensors that require monthly or seasonal replacement in high-usage areas
- Wind sensors with separate speed and direction units, increasing mounting complexity and failure points
- Sensors that average gusts over time, making real-time wind data unusable for safety or control
Technical Features
- Cup anemometer and vane for wind speed and direction measurement
- Rain gauge with dual resolution: 0.3mm below 1000mm, 1mm above
- Outdoor temperature sensing from -40 to +60 degrees C with 0.3 degrees C accuracy
- Humidity sensing across 1 to 99 percent RH at 3 percent accuracy
- Wind speed accuracy of 0.3 m/s between 2 and 10 m/s, 10 percent above 10 m/s
- Wind direction resolved across 0-360 degrees to within 10 degrees
- Transmits every 16 seconds over 433MHz to a compatible UCTECH console

Materials and Construction
- Moulded plastic housing for the sensor body
- Weather sealed battery compartment sized for 4 x AAA cells
- Integrated rain collector and wind vane assembly
How It Is Made
Sensor sub-assemblies are populated and soldered on our own assembly line
Wind vane and anemometer are balanced before the housing is closed
Housings are sealed and checked on rainfall and waterproof test equipment
Every unit is ageing tested before it leaves the factory
Quality Control
- Rainfall and waterproof testing on the assembled sensor
- Constant temperature and humidity chamber runs covering the -40 to +60 degrees C claim
- Vibration testing to reproduce mast and transport loading
- Smog ageing to check the housing and seals
- Final ageing test on every unit before packing
Customisation Options
- Own-label printing and retail packaging
- Console pairing to a customer's existing UCTECH-protocol display
- Alternative battery configurations on request
- Manual and quick start guide in the destination language
Compared With the Alternatives
vs Separate rain, wind, and temperature sensors
One unit reduces mounting hardware, wiring, and failure points; no need to align multiple sensors
vs LoRa-based sensors in the FT0310 and FT0832 range
433MHz is lower cost and sufficient for a single site; LoRa is needed only for long-range or multi-sensor networks
vs Solar-assisted sensors like the FT009TW
No solar panel means lower cost and simpler design, but battery life is shorter in high-usage or cold environments
Use Guide
- Mount the sensor clear of walls and roof edges, ideally 2m above the nearest obstruction
- Align the direction marking to true north before tightening the mast clamp
- Fit 4 x AAA lithium cells if the site drops below freezing or sees extended low light
- Pair with the console before the sensor goes up the mast
- Check the rain collector and clear debris at the start of each season
FT026T Weather Station Sensor-No UV Questions
What is the real range between the sensor and the console
100m in open air. Through walls, foliage and a roof, plan for around 30m, which covers a typical house and garden.
How often does it update
Every 16 seconds, which is short enough that gusts show up rather than being averaged out.
Does it have a solar panel
No. The sensor uses four AAA batteries only. There is no solar assist.
Can it work with a console we already sell
If that console is on the UCTECH 433MHz protocol, yes. Send us the model and we will confirm before you order.
What is the lead time and minimum order
Tell us the quantity and target ship date and we will confirm both by email. Lead time depends on whether own-label printing and packaging are involved.
Which certifications does it carry
TBC. Ask us for the current certificate set for your destination market before you place the order.
