What This Model Is For
The FT025T Weather Station Sensor-UV is an integrated outdoor sensor that measures temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, wind direction, sunlight index and UV index, then transmits all data to the console every 16 seconds over a 433MHz link. It is designed for brands that need a full-featured sensor with no RF or firmware development overhead. The sensor shares the same housing family and protocol as other UCTECH outdoor units, so it can be added to an existing product line without redesign. A solar panel assists the four AAA batteries, extending their life in sunny conditions.
- All weather parameters measured on one unit: temperature, humidity, rain, wind, sunlight and UV
- 16 second update interval preserves gust and rapid change data
- 433MHz transmission reaches 100m in open air, covering most residential and light commercial sites
- Solar assist reduces battery drain, especially in high-sunlight areas
- Shares UCTECH's console protocol, so it integrates with existing displays and apps
Where It Is Used
- Rooftop and garden weather stations sold under a distributor's own brand
- Vineyard and orchard monitoring where UV and wind affect crop health
- Marina and poolside installations needing UV and wind data for safety
- School and public space weather displays with full environmental feedback
- Cold chain and HVAC monitoring where temperature, humidity and wind matter
Who It Is For
- Consumer electronics brands adding full environmental sensing to an existing weather console
- Distributors replacing a sensor that failed after one season due to battery drain or RF loss
- Agricultural suppliers bundling UV and wind data with irrigation or protection systems
- Integrators needing a battery-powered sensor for sites where trenching is not possible
Problems It Solves
- Sensors that only measure temperature and humidity, missing UV and wind impact
- Battery-only sensors that require frequent replacement in sunny or high-use areas
- RF links that fail beyond 30m in typical conditions, requiring a gateway or cable
- Separate sensors for each parameter, increasing cost, complexity and failure points
Technical Features
- Integrated measurement of outdoor temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, wind direction, sunlight index and UV index
- Transmits every 16 seconds over 433MHz to the console
- Solar panel assists the battery, reducing drain during daylight hours
- Housing designed for outdoor use with sealed battery compartment
- Compatible with UCTECH console systems using the same protocol

Materials and Construction
- Moulded plastic housing for the outdoor enclosure
- Integrated solar panel on the sensor body
- Weather sealed battery compartment sized for 4 x AAA cells
How It Is Made
Sensor sub-assemblies are populated and soldered on our own assembly line
Housings are sealed and checked on rainfall and waterproof test equipment
Every unit is ageing tested before it leaves the factory
Quality Control
- Rainfall and waterproof testing on the assembled sensor
- Constant temperature and humidity chamber runs covering the -40 to +60 degrees C claim
- Vibration testing to reproduce mast and transport loading
- Smog ageing to check the housing and seals
- Final ageing test on every unit before packing
Customisation Options
- Own-label printing and retail packaging
- Console pairing to a customer's existing UCTECH-protocol display
- Alternative battery and solar configurations on request
- Manual and quick start guide in the destination language
Compared With the Alternatives
vs Separate sensors for temperature, humidity, rain, wind and UV
One unit reduces mounting hardware, wiring, and failure points, but limits the ability to place sensors at different locations
vs Wired sensors such as the FT019T
No cable run to plan, at the cost of a battery change and a 100m range ceiling
vs LoRa sensors in our FT0310 and FT0832 range
433MHz is cheaper and adequate for a single property; LoRa is the answer once the sensor sits across a field
Use Guide
- Mount the sensor clear of walls and roof edges, ideally 2m above the nearest obstruction
- Align the direction marking to true north before tightening the mast clamp
- Fit 4 x AAA lithium cells for sites that drop below freezing
- Pair with the console before the sensor goes up the mast
- Check the rain collector and clear debris at the start of each season
FT025T Weather Station Sensor-UV Questions
What is the real range between the sensor and the console
100m in open air. Through walls, foliage and a roof, plan for around 30m, which covers a typical house and garden.
How often does it update
Every 16 seconds, which is short enough that gusts and rapid changes show up rather than being averaged out.
Does the solar panel charge the batteries
No. The panel supplies the sensor during daylight and the AAA cells carry it through the night and dull weather, so cell life is much longer than a battery-only sensor.
Can it work with a console we already sell
If that console is on the UCTECH 433MHz protocol, yes. Send us the model and we will confirm before you order.
What is the lead time and minimum order
Tell us the quantity and target ship date and we will confirm both by email. Lead time depends on whether own-label printing and packaging are involved.
Which certifications does it carry
TBC. Ask us for the current certificate set for your destination market before you place the order.
