Ya Pear

鸭梨

Hebei's signature export pear — thin skin, small core, very few stone cells and a long clean fragrance.

Huangguan Pear

皇冠梨

Oval, yellow-white pear with soft juicy flesh, a honey aroma and a high edible ratio.

Xingao Pear

新高梨

Large brown-skinned pear, 450–500 g on average, with milky white flesh and no residue.

Russet Pear

褐皮梨

Oblong brown-skinned pear with dense white flesh and an edible ratio above 90%.

Fengshui Pear

丰水梨

Large, high-sugar pear above 500 g with tender yellow-white flesh and very few stone cells.

Huangjin Pear

黄金梨

Light yellow pear averaging 350 g, with a very small core and 14–16% soluble solids.

Yuanhuang Pear

圆黄梨

Golden when ripe, with translucent pure-white flesh, a distinctive aroma and top-grade quality.

What does the Choice Fruit Alliance do?

It is a brand management company established on 30 September 2017 by nine leading fruit-industry enterprises taking equity stakes. It unifies quality standards, conformity assessment, brand management and marketing across its member enterprises so that Hebei fresh pears reach international markets under one high-end brand.

Which pears can you supply?

The Alliance handles sixteen pear varieties. Eight of them — Ya, Huangguan, Xingao, Russet, Fengshui, Huangjin, Yuanhuang and Xueli — are published with full fruit specifications on this site. The remaining varieties are Xinli No. 7, Lv Zaosu, Qiuyue, Hongxiang, Yuluxiang, Lvbaoshi, Nanshui and Bai Zaosu.

What certifications do the member enterprises hold?

Member enterprises hold international certifications including BRC, HACCP, GLOBALG.A.P. and ISO 9001. The membership includes two national-level key leading enterprises and several provincial-level key leading enterprises.

Enterprises under the Alliance operate 60 registered orchards over about 55,000 mu, more than 24,000 m² of processing workshops, an annual storage capacity of 130,000 tonnes, annual exports reaching 90,000 tonnes and domestic sales of 60,000 tonnes.
