Botou Yafeng Fruit Co., Ltd.

Botou Yafeng Fruit Co., Ltd. is one of the member enterprises of Hebei Choice Fruit Alliance. Established in 1991 and located in the Langbo Road development zone of Botou City, Hebei Province, it is a provincial-level key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialisation covering fruit growing, processing, storage and sales.

The company has three cold stores combining quick-freezing, low-temperature, constant-temperature and controlled-atmosphere capability, with total storage capacity of more than 20,000 tonnes, plus processing plants and orchards registered with the national inspection and quarantine authorities. Its products reach the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, the European Union and Southeast Asia, and it is a regular supplier to CR Vanguard, Pagoda and COFCO. In 2012 Yafeng pears were served at a New Zealand Governor-General's banquet, and since 2011 they have been supplied to Zhongnanhai for several consecutive years.

The company holds three registered trademarks: “Boyang”, “Yafeng” and “Qiqiao”. The Boyang trademark was named a Hebei Province Famous Trademark in 2006 and the Yafeng trademark in 2011. In 2008 the Boyang pear was named a Hebei Province Famous Brand Product. At Hebei's first famous fruit fair, the Yafeng Ya pear and the Boyang Huangguan pear both won gold awards; at the 10th and 11th agricultural product fairs the Yafeng Ya pear and the Boyang Ya pear were each named quality products; and at the 7th National Invention Exhibition the Boyang Ya pear won a gold award.
