Hejian Zhonghong Agricultural Products Co., Ltd.

Hejian Zhonghong Agricultural Products Co., Ltd. is one of the member enterprises of Hebei Choice Fruit Alliance. It is a comprehensive private enterprise integrating fruit growing, processing, storage and import-export trade, and holds its own import and export licence. It is a provincial-level key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialisation in Hebei, a council member of the Hebei Agricultural Industrialisation Leading Enterprise Association and an outstanding agricultural industrialisation leading enterprise of Cangzhou City.

Its registered trademark “Meiyu” Ya pear was named a Hebei Province Famous Trademark by the Hebei Administration for Industry and Commerce in 2009, and the Meiyu Ya pear won the “King” title at the 2016 Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei fruit championship.

The company is located in Hejian City, a main Ya pear producing area of Hebei known as the “first prefecture south of Beijing”. It covers nearly 30,000 m² and operates one processing plant and six standardised orchards registered and approved by the Hebei Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, with an orchard area of more than 8,000 mu certified to the GLOBALG.A.P. good agricultural practice system. Cold storage capacity exceeds 8,000 tonnes and annual processing capacity is more than 15,000 tonnes. Main varieties include Hebei Ya pear, Asian pear and Red Fuji apple, more than ten varieties in total. “Meiyu” series products are exported to more than twenty countries and regions including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the European Union and Southeast Asia, while domestic sales go mainly to Beijing, Tianjin, Guangdong and the three north-eastern provinces.
