Hebei Tianhua Industrial Co., Ltd.

Hebei Tianhua Industrial Co., Ltd. was founded in 1992 and is one of the member enterprises of Hebei Choice Fruit Alliance. It has become an export-oriented enterprise integrating fruit purchasing, storage, processing and sales, operating mainly on its own export licence. The company covers 40 mu and owns an internationally standardised 6,000-tonne controlled-atmosphere fruit store.

“Tianhua” brand pears are sold mainly to high-end long-haul international markets including the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe and Southeast Asia. In 2016 the company exported 3,000 tonnes of pears to high-end long-haul markets such as the United States, Canada and Australia, with total export and domestic sales of 12,000 tonnes for the year. Its processing plant has passed HACCP international food safety and hygiene quality management system certification and is registered with the Hebei Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, making it one of the province's fruit exporters to high-end long-haul international markets.

Eight of the company's base orchards are registered with the Hebei Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and some have passed GAP good agricultural practice certification. From 2002 to 2017 the company was named a Hebei Province agricultural industrialisation key leading enterprise, and from 2005 to 2016 a provincial forestry and fruit industry leading enterprise by the Hebei Forestry Bureau. From 2000 to 2017 Tianhua brand pears were named a Hebei Province key famous brand product every year.
