Product Overview

What This Model Is For

The FT0376 WiFi Weather Station is a complete, integrated system with a console and outdoor sensor that communicates over 433MHz RF and connects to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. It measures outdoor temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, rainfall, barometric pressure, UV and sunlight levels, and uploads real-time data to weather platforms like wunderground and WeatherCloud. The outdoor sensor updates every 16 seconds and transmits up to 100m in open air, with a solar panel that supplements the three AA batteries but does not charge them. The console runs on three AAA batteries and supports wall mounting or desk use.

  • All sensor data is transmitted over 433MHz RF with a 16-second update interval, keeping readings current without averaging
  • Integrated outdoor sensor shares the same housing family as other UCTECH sensors, enabling future expansion without redesign
  • 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection allows real-time data upload to cloud platforms without a gateway
  • Solar panel reduces battery drain during daylight hours, extending life in sunny conditions
  • Console supports both 12- and 24-hour time formats, calendar, alarms, and manual calibration for all sensors
Application Scenarios

Where It Is Used

  • Consumer electronics brands launching an own-label weather station with cloud connectivity and real-time data sharing
  • Distributors in Europe and North America needing a complete, ready-to-sell weather station with app and cloud integration
  • Agricultural suppliers bundling weather data with irrigation or greenhouse control systems
  • Horticultural sites where UV and sunlight levels impact plant growth decisions
  • Marine and pool operators monitoring local wind, rain and pressure changes for safety
Buyers

Who It Is For

  • Consumer electronics brands wanting a full weather station with Wi-Fi and cloud upload without building their own RF or firmware stack
  • Distributors replacing a weather station that failed after one season due to battery drain or RF dropouts
  • Integrators needing a battery-powered sensor that works across a site without cabling or a gateway
  • Building services teams installing a weather display in a lobby or control room with real-time data
Pain Points

Problems It Solves

  • Weather stations that require a separate gateway or hub to connect to Wi-Fi, increasing cost and complexity
  • Sensors that lose signal beyond 30m in typical conditions, limiting placement options
  • Battery-only outdoor sensors that need frequent replacement in summer due to high duty cycle
  • Cloud platforms that only accept data from proprietary hardware, limiting integration options
  • Console displays that cannot be calibrated, leading to drift over time

Build

Materials and Construction

  • Moulded plastic housing for the outdoor sensor
  • Integrated solar panel on the outdoor sensor body
  • Weather sealed battery compartment sized for 3 x AA cells
Manufacturing

How It Is Made

Step 01

Outdoor sensor sub-assemblies are populated and soldered on our own assembly line

Step 02

Housings are sealed and checked on rainfall and waterproof test equipment

Step 03

Every unit is ageing tested before it leaves the factory

Testing

Quality Control

  • Rainfall and waterproof testing on the assembled outdoor sensor
  • Constant temperature and humidity chamber runs covering the -40 to +60 degrees C outdoor temperature claim
  • Vibration testing to reproduce transport and mast loading
  • Smog ageing to check the housing and seals
  • Final ageing test on every unit before packing
Own Label

Customisation Options

  • Own-label printing and retail packaging
  • Console pairing to a customer's existing UCTECH-protocol display
  • Alternative battery configurations on request
  • Manual and quick start guide in the destination language
Honest Comparison

Compared With the Alternatives

vs Separate console and outdoor sensor with no Wi-Fi

No cloud upload or remote data access, but lower cost and simpler RF setup

vs LoRa-based weather station

433MHz is cheaper and sufficient for a single property; LoRa is better for large sites with multiple sensors

vs Wired weather station

No cable run required, but limited by battery life and RF range

Installation

Use Guide

  • Mount the outdoor sensor at least 2m above ground and clear of obstructions like walls and trees
  • Align the direction marker to true north before securing the sensor to the mast
  • Use lithium batteries in cold climates to prevent power drop below freezing
  • Pair the console with Wi-Fi before mounting the outdoor sensor
  • Clear the min/max records manually or let them reset every 24 hours

FT0376 WiFi Weather Station Questions

What is the real range between the outdoor sensor and the console

100m in open air. Through walls, foliage and a roof, plan for around 30m, which covers a typical house and garden.

How often does the sensor update

Every 16 seconds, which is short enough that gusts and rapid changes show up rather than being averaged out.

Does the solar panel charge the batteries

No. The solar panel supplies power during daylight and reduces the load on the AA batteries, but it does not charge them.

Can it work with a console we already sell

If that console is on the UCTECH 433MHz protocol, yes. Send us the model and we will confirm before you order.

What is the lead time and minimum order

Tell us the quantity and target ship date and we will confirm both by email. Lead time depends on whether own-label printing and packaging are involved.

Which certifications does it carry

TBC. Ask us for the current certificate set for your destination market before you place the order.
