Product Overview

What This Model Is For

The FT0300 WiFi Weather Station is a complete indoor console and integrated outdoor sensor system that measures temperature, humidity, wind, rain, barometric pressure, UV, and sunlight, then uploads real-time data to wunderground and WeatherCloud via 2.4GHz WiFi. The outdoor sensor transmits every 16 seconds over a 433MHz link, covering up to 100m in open air. It runs on solar-assisted power, with the solar panel acting as an auxiliary supply rather than a battery charger, extending cell life in sunny conditions. The system supports manual calibration and includes alarm functions for all key parameters.

  • Integrated outdoor sensor with 433MHz transmission, eliminating the need for a separate RF module or gateway
  • Real-time data upload to wunderground and WeatherCloud via 2.4GHz WiFi for public weather tracking
  • Solar-assisted power extends battery life without requiring a rechargeable system
  • 16-second transmission interval ensures live updates on wind, rain, and pressure without averaging
  • Manual calibration for all sensors allows fine-tuning to match site-specific conditions

Application Scenarios

Where It Is Used

  • Consumer electronics brands launching an own-label weather station without an in-house RF or firmware team
  • Distributors replacing a weather station that failed after one winter due to poor environmental resilience
  • Agricultural integrators needing a low-maintenance sensor for field monitoring with no cabling
  • HVAC and building services teams using live weather data for climate control decisions
  • Marine and leisure operators monitoring wind, rain, and UV for safety and comfort
Buyers

Who It Is For

  • Consumer electronics brands sourcing an own-label weather station with full data upload capability
  • Distributors replacing a sensor that failed under rain, humidity, or vibration stress
  • Agricultural and horticultural suppliers bundling weather data with irrigation or greenhouse controls
  • Integrators who need a battery-powered sensor for sites where trenching or wiring is not feasible
  • Building services teams requiring a console that logs and alarms on temperature, humidity, and pressure
Pain Points

Problems It Solves

  • Weather stations that lack real-time data upload, forcing users to manually record readings
  • Sensors that fail after one season due to poor sealing or inadequate ageing testing
  • RF links that drop out beyond 30m, requiring a gateway or cabling solution
  • Battery-only sensors that need frequent replacement in high-use or sunny locations
  • Console systems that cannot be calibrated, leading to drift in temperature and humidity readings

Build

Materials and Construction

  • Moulded plastic housing for the outdoor sensor
  • Integrated solar panel on the outdoor sensor body
  • Weather sealed battery compartment sized for 4 x AAA cells
Manufacturing

How It Is Made

Step 01

Sensor sub-assemblies are populated and soldered on our own assembly line

Step 02

Outdoor sensor housings are sealed and tested on rainfall and waterproof test equipment

Step 03

Every unit undergoes final ageing testing before packing

Step 04

Console and sensor are paired during final assembly to ensure protocol compatibility

Testing

Quality Control

  • Rainfall and waterproof testing on the assembled outdoor sensor
  • Constant temperature and humidity chamber runs covering the -40 to +60 degrees C range
  • Vibration testing to simulate transport and mast loading
  • Smog ageing to evaluate housing and seal durability
  • Final ageing test on every unit before packaging
Own Label

Customisation Options

  • Own-label printing and retail packaging
  • Console firmware configured to match a customer’s existing UCTECH-protocol display
  • Alternative battery and solar configurations on request
  • Manual and quick start guide in the destination language
Honest Comparison

Compared With the Alternatives

vs Separate indoor console and outdoor sensor with no WiFi upload

No data sharing with public platforms; requires manual logging or a custom app

vs Wired weather station with a 433MHz RF sensor

No cabling required, but 433MHz range is limited to 100m open air

vs LoRa-based weather station

433MHz is cheaper and sufficient for a single property; LoRa is better for large sites

Installation

Use Guide

  • Mount the outdoor sensor clear of walls and roof edges, ideally 2m above the nearest obstruction
  • Align the direction marking to true north before tightening the mast clamp
  • Fit 4 x AAA lithium cells for sites that drop below freezing
  • Pair the sensor with the console before mounting it on the mast
  • Check the sensor housing and clear debris at the start of each season
  • Use the manual calibration feature to adjust temperature, humidity, and pressure readings

FT0300 WiFi Weather Station Questions

What is the real range between the sensor and the console

100m in open air. Through walls, foliage, and a roof, plan for around 30m, which covers a typical house and garden.

How often does it update

Every 16 seconds, which is short enough that gusts and pressure changes show up rather than being averaged out.

Does the solar panel charge the batteries

No. The panel supplies the sensor during daylight and the AAA cells carry it through the night and dull weather, so cell life is much longer than a battery-only sensor.

Can it work with a console we already sell

If that console is on the UCTECH 433MHz protocol, yes. Send us the model and we will confirm before you order.

What is the lead time and minimum order

Tell us the quantity and target ship date and we will confirm both by email. Lead time depends on whether own-label printing and packaging are involved.

Which certifications does it carry

TBC. Ask us for the current certificate set for your destination market before you place the order.
