What This Model Is For
The FT0360 WiFi Weather Station is a complete indoor console and integrated outdoor sensor system that measures temperature, humidity, wind, rain, barometric pressure, UV, and sunlight, then uploads real-time data to weathercloud and wunderground via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. The outdoor sensor transmits every 16 seconds over 433MHz to the console, which can be wall-mounted or placed on a desk. Solar assist on the sensor body supplements the three AA batteries but does not charge them. The system supports manual calibration and displays min/max values with automatic 24-hour reset or manual clear.
- Integrated outdoor sensor with 433MHz transmission avoids separate cabling and gateway costs
- Real-time data upload to wunderground and weathercloud for public display and data sharing
- 16 second transmission interval ensures live wind and rain updates without averaging
- Solar assist extends battery life by reducing daytime load on the three AA cells
- Manual calibration allows fine-tuning of temperature, humidity, pressure, wind, and rainfall

Where It Is Used
- Home and garden weather stations sold under a distributor’s own brand with public data sharing
- Agricultural sites needing live wind, rain, and UV data for irrigation and spraying decisions
- Schools and visitor centres using the console for public weather displays and education
- Cold chain and HVAC integrators monitoring indoor and outdoor conditions across a site
- Marine and leisure operators tracking wind, rain, and UV for safety and scheduling
Who It Is For
- Consumer electronics brands launching an own-label weather station without a wireless team
- Distributors replacing a weather station that failed after one season due to battery drain or RF drop
- Agricultural suppliers bundling weather data with irrigation or greenhouse controls
- Integrators who need a battery-powered sensor with Wi-Fi upload but no site cabling
Problems It Solves
- Weather stations that require a separate gateway or router to upload data, increasing cost and complexity
- Sensors that fail after one winter due to unsealed enclosures or poor battery management
- RF links that drop out beyond 30m, especially through walls or foliage
- Data that is delayed or averaged, missing short-term wind gusts or rain bursts
- Console systems that cannot be calibrated in the field, leading to drift over time

Materials and Construction
- Moulded plastic housing for the outdoor sensor
- Integrated solar panel on the sensor body
- Weather sealed battery compartment sized for 3 x AA cells
How It Is Made
Outdoor sensor sub-assemblies are populated and soldered on our own assembly line
Housings are sealed and tested on rainfall and waterproof test equipment
Every unit undergoes a final ageing test before packing
Quality Control
- Rainfall and waterproof testing on the assembled outdoor sensor
- Constant temperature and humidity chamber runs covering the -40 to +60 degrees C range
- Vibration testing to simulate transport and mast loading
- Smog ageing to check housing and seal integrity
- Final ageing test on every unit before packing
Customisation Options
- Own-label printing and retail packaging
- Console firmware pairing to a customer’s existing UCTECH-protocol display
- Alternative battery configurations on request
- Manual and quick start guide in the destination language
Compared With the Alternatives
vs Separate console and outdoor sensor with 433MHz link
One integrated sensor reduces mounting points and cabling, but you cannot replace the sensor without replacing the console
vs Wired weather station with 433MHz RF
No cable run needed, but the sensor is limited to 100m range and cannot be moved without rewiring
vs LoRa-based weather station
433MHz is cheaper and sufficient for a single property; LoRa is better for large sites with multiple sensors
Use Guide
- Mount the outdoor sensor clear of obstructions, ideally 2m above ground
- Align the sensor direction mark to true north before securing the mast
- Use 3 x AA lithium cells for sites that drop below freezing
- Pair the sensor with the console before mounting it outdoors
- Check the sensor housing and clear debris at the start of each season
FT0360 WiFi Weather Station Questions
What is the real range between the sensor and the console
100m in open air. Through walls, foliage, or a roof, plan for around 30m, which covers a typical house and garden.
How often does the sensor update
Every 16 seconds, which is short enough to capture gusts and rain bursts without averaging.
Does the solar panel charge the batteries
No. The solar panel supplies power during daylight and reduces the load on the AA cells, but it does not charge them.
Can it work with a console we already sell
If that console uses the UCTECH 433MHz protocol, yes. Send us the model and we will confirm before you order.
What is the lead time and minimum order
Tell us the quantity and target ship date and we will confirm both by email. Lead time depends on whether own-label printing and packaging are involved.
Which certifications does it carry
TBC. Ask us for the current certificate set for your destination market before you place the order.
