FT0366 WiFi Weather Station
The FT0366 WiFi Weather Station is a complete indoor console and integrated outdoor sensor system that measures temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, barometric pressure, rainfall, and weather forecast data. It transmits all outdoor readings to the console every 16 sec

What This Model Is For
The FT0366 WiFi Weather Station is a complete indoor console and integrated outdoor sensor system that measures temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, barometric pressure, rainfall, and weather forecast data. It transmits all outdoor readings to the console every 16 seconds over a 433MHz link, then uploads real-time data to weathercloud and wunderground via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. The console runs on three AAA batteries with solar assist, and the outdoor sensor uses three AA batteries with solar assist to extend life. Both units are designed for wall mounting or desk placement.
- Integrated outdoor sensor with 433MHz transmission every 16 seconds for timely gust and pressure changes
- Real-time data upload to wunderground and weathercloud via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
- Solar panel on both console and sensor provides auxiliary power, reducing battery drain
- 100m open-air range between sensor and console, suitable for most residential sites
- Adjustable backlight and manual calibration for temperature, humidity, pressure, wind, and rainfall

Where It Is Used
- Home weather displays sold under a distributor's own brand with live data sharing
- Garden and rooftop monitoring where wireless data upload is preferred over wired sensors
- Schools and visitor centres using the forecast and moon phase features for educational displays
- Agricultural monitoring where real-time rainfall and wind data inform irrigation and spraying
- Cold chain and HVAC integrators needing a low-cost, battery-powered weather node
Who It Is For
- Consumer electronics brands launching an own-label weather station without a wireless firmware team
- Distributors replacing a sensor that failed after one season due to battery drain or RF loss
- Agricultural suppliers bundling weather data with irrigation or climate control systems
- Integrators needing a battery-powered sensor that works without a gateway or cabling
Problems It Solves
- Sensors that report outdated data due to long transmission intervals or poor RF links
- Battery-only sensors that require frequent replacement in sunny or exposed locations
- Wi-Fi-only sensors that fail when the router is out of range or the signal is blocked
- Console systems that cannot upload data to public weather networks without extra hardware

Materials and Construction
- Moulded plastic housing for the console and outdoor sensor
- Integrated solar panel on the console and outdoor sensor body
- Weather sealed battery compartment sized for 3 x AAA and 3 x AA cells respectively
How It Is Made
Console and sensor sub-assemblies are populated and soldered on our own assembly line
Outdoor sensor housing is sealed and tested on rainfall and waterproof test equipment
Each unit undergoes final ageing test before packing
Console and sensor are paired and tested together before shipment
Quality Control
- Rainfall and waterproof testing on the assembled outdoor sensor
- Constant temperature and humidity chamber runs covering the -40 to +60 degrees C range
- Vibration testing to simulate transport and mast loading
- Smog ageing to verify housing and seal integrity
- Final ageing test on every unit before packaging
Customisation Options
- Own-label printing and retail packaging for brand-specific launch
- Console pairing to a customer's existing UCTECH-protocol display system
- Alternative battery configurations on request
- Manual and quick start guide in the destination language
Compared With the Alternatives
vs Separate console and sensor with 433MHz link
One integrated unit reduces mounting points and failure points, but limits sensor placement flexibility
vs Wired weather station with Ethernet or RS485
No cable run needed, but range is limited to 20m for Wi-Fi and 100m for 433MHz
vs LoRa-based weather station
433MHz is lower cost and sufficient for a single property; LoRa is better for multi-site or long-range deployments
Use Guide
- Mount the console in a location with clear Wi-Fi access and line of sight to the sensor
- Position the outdoor sensor at least 2m above ground and clear of obstructions
- Align the sensor's direction arrow to true north before securing the mast
- Fit 3 x AA lithium cells in the sensor for cold or low-light environments
- Pair the sensor with the console before mounting, then confirm data sync
FT0366 WiFi Weather Station Questions
What is the real range between the sensor and the console
100m in open air. Through walls, foliage, or a roof, plan for around 30m, which covers a typical house and garden.
How often does it update
Every 16 seconds, which is short enough to capture gusts and pressure changes without averaging.
Does the solar panel charge the batteries
No. The solar panel supplies power during daylight and reduces battery drain, but the batteries remain the primary power source.
Can it upload data to my existing weather network
Yes, it uploads to wunderground and weathercloud by default. We can confirm compatibility with your system before you order.
What is the lead time and minimum order
Tell us the quantity and target ship date and we will confirm both by email. Lead time depends on whether own-label printing and packaging are involved.
Which certifications does it carry
TBC. Ask us for the current certificate set for your destination market before you place the order.
