Which sprinkler covers a rectangular lawn?
The oscillating sprinkler. Ours uses a fifteen hole bar, which is the usual configuration for a domestic lawn. Impulse and three arm sprinklers throw a circle, so they suit open or irregular areas.
What is a wing spike?
A wing spike has two flat wings either side of the point so the sprinkler can be stepped into the ground by foot rather than pushed in by hand. It is the right choice where ground is dry or compacted.
Metal or plastic impulse head, which should we stock?
Both, if the wall has room. The plastic head carries the entry price and the metal head is what customers replace it with. We build both on the same base options so the pack sizes stay comparable.
Do sprinklers ship in a colour box?
The larger sprinklers ship in a colour box and the smaller spike and card models ship on a tie on card. Pack format, carton quantity and CBM are published on each product page.
Do these work at low mains pressure?
Coverage depends on local supply pressure and we do not publish a throw radius we have not measured under your conditions. Ask for a sample and test it on your own line before committing a programme.
