Most watering ranges are assembled by category buyer rather than by water path. The result is a wall where the parts do not connect. This is how we build a range that follows the water from the tap to the plant.
The Sequence We Actually Run
Each stage names the problem first and then what we do about it. If a stage does not apply to your programme we say so rather than billing for it.
The Tap
Every watering purchase starts at a tap the retailer has never seen.
Tap adaptors in 3/4 inch and 1 inch, plain and soft coated, plus a two way valve so one tap can serve two lines.
The Hose
Hose size decides what every other product on the wall has to be.
A 1/2 inch 15 metre PVC hose that matches the connector sizes and the reel capacities in the rest of the catalogue.
The Connection
The coupling is the part that leaks and the part that gets returned.
Connectors, water stop connectors, lock connectors and menders in matching sizes, all built around one clip geometry.
Storage
A hose left on the ground is the reason the customer stops using it.
Reels and carts rated against 1/2 inch hose from 40 to 100 metres, in plastic and metal frame versions.
The Tool
The gun or wand is where perceived quality is decided.
Twenty one spray guns and ten wands and showers across plastic, metal, chrome plated and soft coated finishes.
Unattended Watering
Customers will not leave a sprinkler running without a way to stop it.
Sixteen sprinklers covering impulse, oscillating and rotating arm mechanisms, plus two hour mechanical timers to sit beside them.

How many SKUs does a complete watering wall need?
That depends on your shelf metres, but the structure matters more than the count. A wall needs a tap step, a hose step, a connection step, a storage step, a tool step and an unattended watering step. All six exist in this catalogue.
Do we have to take the whole range?
No. Most programmes start with two families, usually fittings and spray guns, and add sprinklers and reels in the second season.
Which hose size should the range be built on?
1/2 inch is the size this catalogue is anchored on and it is what the reel capacities are rated against. Our fittings also cover 5/8 inch, 3/4 inch and 1 inch for markets that need them.
