Choose the controller

What happens here. Inputs and outputs are counted with spare capacity, relay or transistor outputs are chosen for the loads, and the port is chosen for the screen and drives that go with it.
Match the sensors
Problem. NPN and PNP sensors cannot be swapped freely between input cards.
What happens here. Sensor output type is checked against the PLC input common before the order, which removes the most common retrofit fault.
Match the motion
Problem. Old drives may not accept the new controller's command type.
What happens here. Pulse train or bus based motion is decided with the controller, and the drives are quoted to suit.
Quote as one panel
Problem. Part by part ordering stretches a two-week job over two months.
What happens here. Controller, screen, drives, sensors and control devices are quoted on one sheet with availability marked line by line.
Commission
Problem. Questions appear once the panel is powered up.
