Answers taken straight from how Brooks ships, fits and backs its luggage.
Why does the model year matter so much+–
Frame and subframe changes between model years move the mounting points. A rack cut for a 2013-2018 R1200GS is not the same part as the 2019-2025 R1250GS rack, which is why each is listed separately.
How do I make sure I get the right rack+–
Tell us your bike model and year when you order and we will ship the rack that matches it.
What if my bike is not on this list+–
Call (408) 658-6810 or email with the model and year. If we have nothing that fits we will say so rather than sell you a part that does not.
Do I need racks as well as panniers+–
Panniers hang on side racks. Some Brooks sets include electro-polished stainless steel racks in the package and some list them as sold separately — the fitment note in the table above says which.
Does the top case need its own rack+–
Yes. The 40 litre top case requires mounting brackets and attaches through the Quick Release system on a Brooks top case rack.
How do I place an order+–

How fast do orders ship+–
Orders typically ship within 24 business hours from the time payment is received.
What is the return policy+–
All returns need prior authorization. The item must be returned within 14 days of the arrival date, in original condition and never installed. The purchase price is refunded; shipping and handling fees are not refundable.
