A corner set looks simple until the first carton is opened on the assembly line and something is missing. This guide covers what to confirm before the order goes in.
What a set normally contains
A standard set is four large corners for the casket corners, small corners for the long sides, matching lugs, and steel bars in a long and a short length. Content varies by model, so it should be read off the product page rather than assumed.
Bar lengths
Bar length is the detail that most often gets missed. A common arrangement is two long bars around 2.03 m and two short bars around 66 cm, painted or electroplated to match the mouldings.
Material and finish
Decide between PP, ABS and recycled grades, and choose the finish. Gold, silver and bronze are standard, and any of them can be matched to an existing sample instead.
Minimum order and price
Many corner sets start at 100 sets. Published price guidance on some models runs around USD 7 to 10 per set, but the firm figure depends on quantity, finish and destination.
Packing
Ten sets per carton is common, with each piece bagged and the steel bars packed separately. Confirm the carton dimensions if your warehouse racking is fixed.
