Most failures we are asked to investigate are selection failures, not manufacturing failures. This route gets the specification right before anything is made.
How We Work Through a Selection
Each stage below lists the problem buyers hit and what we do about it.
Duty Review
Problem: The medium is described as water when it also carries grit and chemicals.
We ask what is actually in the flow, at what temperature and how often the valve moves.
Body Style
Problem: A wafer body is ordered for a point where the line is opened on one side.
Dead-end service, removal points and space constraints decide wafer lug or flanged.
Seat and Disc
Problem: A rubber seat is put against a medium that destroys it.
Resilient PTFE lined and coated options are matched to the medium and temperature.
Drive Sizing
Problem: A lever is specified on a diameter no operator can turn under pressure.
Diameter duty cycle and control requirements decide lever gearbox or actuator.
Standards Check
Problem: Flange drilling does not match the pipework already on site.
We confirm the flange standard and drilling against your pipe flanges before production.
Written Confirmation
Problem: Verbal agreements do not survive the order process.
The agreed selection is issued as a specification sheet attached to the quotation.

Valve Selection Support FAQ
Is selection support charged separately?
No. It is part of quoting the work. We would rather spend the time before the order than replace valves afterwards.
Can you review a specification written by our consultant?
Yes. Send it over and we will confirm what we can supply as written and flag anything that looks wrong for the duty.
Will you tell me if a valve is the wrong choice?
Yes, including when the answer is a valve family we do not make. A valve that fails in service costs us more than the order is worth.
What if the medium is confidential?
A generic description of the chemistry, concentration and temperature is enough to choose a seat. We do not need the process detail.
