Overview
Wire cutting removes material with a travelling wire rather than a rotating tool, so it does not care how hard the material is and it puts almost no mechanical load on the part. That makes it the route for profiles in hardened stock, sharp internal corners and thin sections that would distort under a milling cutter. HPM lists precision wire cut as one of its turn-key services.
