Private Label: A Five Motif Bracelet And A Pave Statement Piece

The Challenge

Repeatability. A motif bracelet has to bead identically across five separate panels, and a pave form has to close its stone rows down a taper without the bead work going ragged. Both have to be buildable again, months later, to the same standard.

Customer Pain Points

• Bead edges that vary visibly between motifs on the same bracelet
• Onyx panels cut to slightly different depths, so the run sits unevenly
• Pave that loses its discipline where a form tapers to a point
• Runs that cannot be repeated because nothing was recorded

What Was Specified

Motifs are gauged to one panel depth and compared under magnification. The pave body's finished metal weight is recorded so a repeat can be verified against a number rather than a memory. The source states all items are its own production and are easy to make again, and that OEM and ODM work is accepted with the customer's own engraved label.

The Result

Both pieces are photographed as finished goods in the workshop's own hands. For a private label programme the recorded specification is the deliverable as much as the piece is.
