What CifyChina actually is
A directory of 591 China manufacturer and supplier listings across 26 industries, compiled from each company's own published material, plus 52 buyer's guides and 24 documented buyer inquiries.
What the directory contains
Each listing records the company name, its own domain, the product scope it publishes, the industry it belongs to and — where a working relationship exists — the year that relationship started. 519 of the 591 listings carry a recorded partnership year, the earliest going back to 2007.
522 of the listings link through to a hosted company microsite built from that supplier's own product material. The remaining listings link to a profile page compiled here or to the company's own website.
What it is not
This is not an audit. CifyChina compiles what suppliers publish about themselves; it does not independently verify factory size, headcount, certification validity, production capacity or export history. Treat every listing as a shortlist candidate. Before tooling, a deposit or a first container, ask for the business licence, recent export records, a sample against your drawing, and — for anything with real tooling cost — a factory audit.

How to use it
- Start from the industry page closest to your part, not from a keyword search.
- Shortlist on published process scope — a company that lists the actual process usually runs it in-house; a company that lists only the finished product may be trading it.
- Read the buyer's guide for the category before writing the RFQ; most failed quotes are missing a tolerance, a material grade or a destination-market certification.
- Send the drawing or reference sample on WhatsApp if you want the shortlist narrowed.
