How to Size a Tennis Bracelet

The 6 to 9 inch range, how to measure a wrist and which sizes to stock.

Measure the wrist, then add

Wrap a tape measure around the wrist just below the wrist bone and note the measurement. A tennis bracelet should sit with a little movement but not slide over the hand - for most wearers that means adding roughly half an inch to three quarters of an inch to the wrist measurement.

The range we make

Our tennis bracelets run from 6 inch to 9 inch. Six inch fits a small adult wrist, seven to seven and a half covers the majority of women, eight and above covers most men.

What to stock if you can only stock two sizes

Seven inch and eight inch. That covers the bulk of both sides of the market, and the ends of the range can be ordered against demand since length is a variant rather than a separate product.

Why a bracelet that is too loose fails

A loose tennis bracelet rotates, which puts the clasp on the top of the wrist where it catches on everything. Most bracelets that come back as faulty were sized wrong rather than built wrong.
