Brief And Format
Проблема. A buyer often starts from a picture rather than a specification, so quotes from different suppliers are not comparable.
Как это делается. The enquiry is turned into a written specification: bag format, finished size, fabric weight, handle type and length, print method and print area. Everything is quoted against that specification, so a second quote can be compared line by line.
Artwork Review
Проблема. Artwork that works on screen may be unprintable on fabric: hairlines that fill in, gradients that band, or type too small to cure.
Как это делается. Artwork is reviewed before quoting and the print method is chosen to suit it. Where a design will not hold, you are told what has to change and why, rather than finding out from the first sample.
Fabric And Colour
Проблема. Cotton, canvas, coated non-woven and polyester each take colour differently, so one reference cannot govern all of them.
Как это делается. A colour reference is agreed per material. Because greige cotton is woven in-house, plain cotton and canvas bodies can be specified by fabric weight rather than by whatever roll happens to be available.
Sample Development
Проблема. A sample that is a near miss costs a whole round trip and often the promotion date with it.
Как это делается. A dedicated sample team builds the first sample, and the points most likely to be wrong, handle length, trim shade, print position, are photographed and confirmed with you before it ships.
Pre-Production Approval
Проблема. Bulk that does not match the approved sample is the single most common reason a shipment is rejected.
Как это делается. The approved sample is sealed and stays on the line as the reference. Inspection compares finished bags to that physical sample, not to a written description.

Do I pay for samples?
Sample and courier costs are normally charged, and are commonly credited against a bulk order. The cost depends on whether the sample is a stock shape with your logo or a new development that needs fabric and accessories sourced first.
What do you need from me to start?
Vector artwork or a high resolution file, the finished size you want, the quantity, and the date the goods must arrive. If you have a physical sample of what you want to match, that is worth more than any of the rest.
How many sample rounds are normal?
One development sample and one confirmation sample is typical. More rounds usually mean the specification was still moving, which is why the specification is fixed in writing at the start.
