Where Orders Go Wrong And What Is Done About It
Production Planning
The problem. Campaign dates are fixed; production queues are not.
How it is handled. The schedule is worked back from your required arrival date, including shipping time, and confirmed before the deposit. Two production lines mean a repeat order and a new development do not have to compete for the same slot.
Materials
The problem. Trim, webbing and hardware are the parts that quietly hold an order up.
How it is handled. Accessories are confirmed at the sample stage and secured with the fabric, so the order does not stop halfway through sewing waiting for a buckle or a zip.
Inline Quality Control
The problem. Checking only at the end means a fault found on day ten was repeated for ten days.
How it is handled. Checks run during sewing as well as at the end. Handle attachment, seam strength and print position are the recurring failure points and are watched specifically.
Final Inspection
The problem. A shipment rejected at the destination costs far more than one corrected in the factory.
How it is handled. Finished bags are inspected, folded and counted against the sealed sample in the inspection area before packing. Third party inspection can be arranged if your programme requires it.
Packing And Shipping
The problem. Cartons that do not suit the receiving warehouse create work at the other end.
How it is handled. Folding method, inner packing, carton quantity and labelling are agreed before packing starts, so goods can go straight into your replenishment system.

What lead time should I plan for?
Lead time depends on quantity, decoration method and whether fabric is in stock. Give the date the goods must arrive rather than the date you want to ship, and the plan is built backwards from it including sea freight.
Can you handle shipping documents?
Yes. Export documentation is part of a twenty year trading operation and has been run into Germany, Finland, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Singapore and the United States.
Can I send a third party inspector?
Yes. Third party inspection before shipment is welcome. It is easier if it is agreed at order stage so the inspection date sits in the production schedule.
