What Happens At Each Stage

Each stage names the problem buyers actually hit, then what MEP Power does about it.

Size the load

Sets bought on headline kVA often sit badly against the real load.

Tell us the connected load, the duty and whether the set is prime or standby and the range from 30 kVA to 3000 kVA is matched to it.

Match the engine

Alternator and engine have to agree on speed and housing.

Generator-drive engines are listed at 1500 rpm for 50 Hz and 1800 rpm for 60 Hz with prime and standby outputs stated separately.

Build

A set assembled from mismatched parts never reaches its rating.

Engine, alternator, base frame, battery and controls are assembled as one unit.

Brand

Rental and dealer fleets need the set to carry their own identity.

OEM and ODM builds are accepted, including your logo and company name on the set.

Test

The first load test belongs in the factory, not on site.

Output voltage, frequency, rated current and power factor are checked against the data sheet before dispatch.

Deliver

A set is heavy, awkward and easy to damage in transit.

Export packing and shipment by sea, air or express are arranged with the order.
