EMC Directive 2014/30/EU

How we handle it: LCIE Bureau Veritas China issued an attestation of conformity to EN 55014-1:2017+A11:2020 and EN 55014-2:2015, report ASEZ-ESH-P21030217B dated 19 March 2021, covering references BS01 BS02 JC-11 FLY01 and FL01NGSP
Low Voltage Directive
Problem: The charging side of a rechargeable racket is where the LVD risk sits
How we handle it: DEKRA Testing and Certification Shanghai Ltd issued an attestation of conformity for the mosquito swatter range
RoHS
Problem: Restricted substances in the housing or the grid stop a shipment at the border
How we handle it: A RoHS certificate of conformity is held for the range and PFS01 and PFS11 are listed with RoHS in the plastic family
PAHs
Problem: Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in handles and grips fail German market checks
How we handle it: DEKRA test report 3177321.50QS covers PAH content against AfPS GS 2014:01
REACH
Problem: Phthalate content in plastic parts is a recurring REACH question

EU Market Compliance Questions
Which models are named on the CE EMC attestation?
The attestation issued by LCIE Bureau Veritas China names references BS01, BS02, JC-11, FLY01 and FL01NGSP, product Mosquito Racket, technical characteristics DC 3V.
Is CE marking the same as a CE certificate?
No. CE marking is the manufacturer declaration. The attestation of conformity is the third-party test evidence behind it. DANQ holds both EMC and LVD attestations for the racket range.
Do you hold ISO 9001?
The original DANQ documentation does not include an ISO certificate, so we do not claim one. The documents on file are the CE EMC and LVD attestations and the RoHS, PAHs and REACH reports.
Can we get the documents before placing an order?
Yes. Email [email protected] and we send the certificate pack. Buyers normally receive it with the quotation.
Which standard covers PAH content?
AfPS GS 2014:01, tested by DEKRA under report 3177321.50QS.
