ПодробнееДля кого эта категория
The same pressed sphere serves a handrail finial, a tank float and a three metre garden landmark. The differences are grade, wall thickness and fixing.
- Landscape architects specifying a reflective focal element
- Balustrade and metalwork contractors needing matched sphere sizes across a building
- Public art fabricators subcontracting the sphere while they build the base
- Garden and outdoor decor importers buying graded diameters by the container
- Process equipment builders needing a sealed stainless float
- Cast or solid spheres are too heavy to install once they pass about half a metre
- Painted mild steel spheres rust at the seam and need a repaint cycle
- Buying diameters from several suppliers gives visibly different polish across one run
- Site drilling a finished mirror sphere leaves scratches that cannot be corrected in place
- Small workshops cannot press above one metre so large schemes stall at tender
Что вы получаете с этим диапазоном
- Diameters from 19 mm to 3000 mm with no fixed size steps in between
- Wall thickness from 1 mm to 6 mm so cost follows the load case
- AISI 201 304 and 316, plus carbon steel where the ball will be fully coated
- Drilling metric and unified thread tapping and pedestal welding before final polish
- Mirror brushed and matt finishes plus metallising electroplating and candy colour
- One polish batch across a whole size run so a set matches on site

Stainless Steel Spheres Buying Questions
What is the largest sphere you can press?
3000 mm diameter on the standard tooling. Above 19 mm there are no fixed steps, so an intermediate diameter costs the same as a round number.
How thick should the wall be?
1 mm suits small decorative balls, 2 mm is the usual default, and 4 to 6 mm is used where the piece is large, publicly accessible or handled roughly.
Can the sphere be drilled and tapped?
Yes, before the final polish. Send the hole positions with the order because drilling a finished mirror surface on site causes damage that cannot be corrected.
Is the weld seam visible?
The seam is ground and blended until it no longer reads in reflection. On a mirror finish this is the step that separates a good sphere from a cheap one.
How long does a sphere order take?
20 to 30 days after the deposit is received. Mixed diameter orders needing several polish batches sit at the top of that range.
